i saw them thursday, they are a great sounding band, but they didnt have the energy like daylight dies, darkane or soilwork, it just didnt fit the tour, and the singer has like no presence

i saw them monday and i thought they were amazing. the best band of the night in my opinion. they don't have the same kind of stage energy as those other bands because they aren't that kind of music. their music embodies sorrow and despair and when i feel those emotions i don't feel like running around pounding my chest either. darkane to me were very generic sounding metal and soilwork...well they kind of sound like the nickleback of the metal world.

WTF happened to the vocals? I was HIGHLY anticipating this album, but after hearing this I'm extremely disappointed. There are enough bands already with the crappy high pitched screaming vocal style & not enough with the style on the previous albums!!! Trash this one and re-record it with the low growls.

ahem. the piece is 35 minutes long, you're going to thrash everything for because you didnt hear enough grunts in this interview -part which didnt even run that much? i have heard the album myself and i can vouch for it having even amount of every side of his vocal range. with all due respect, but for the vocal palette mr kotamäki put out to the album, im sorry mate, but i think i can already say you will be alone on your opinion. to my ears its the best they ever have released, full stop.

I could so go for 35 minutes of this. This sounds like it may be one of the best things they ever release... they are almost on a par with MDB now. Btw one of the things I've never appreciated so much about STS is the vocals but here they sound fantastic.
