  • I am so desperate to find the music used in this episode. Any help would be much appreciated!

  • wow..2 or even 3 brothers take turn on the same woman ..I bet these disgusting freaks fuck their sisters and mothers , too ..that's even better for keeping wealth in the family..and if the wife dies from overuse then brothers bang each other..Bhutan , welcome to the Sodom & Gomorrah of the modern times !!

  • dude

    them Bhutan babes

    are hitting on you

  • i can't believe this crazy man went Bhuntan

  • It's really admirable how open this man is about the polyandry. It's reall quite a personal question to ask about sleeping arrangements, but he's answering it with dignity and openness. <3

  • Polyandry is very rare and that's what makes it so interesting.

  • It would be amazing to see a living example of a culturally strong Buddhist Kingdom, I would love to go here

  • He says "ga-tey bey ru, nga chey labha ued"..

"whatever happens, its in our hands"

  • This practice is common in the Himalayan regions where due to scarcity of arable land, by this practice of sharing a wife between two brothers, the family holdings are not split up between brothers. Its quite different to other parts of Bhutan where land and households were traditionally inherited by women, and men would marry into a family. In the highlands, women marry into the husbands family.

  • i dont understand what you mean by disgusting, do you mean that you would never share with your brother because its disgusting not to be jealous?

  • So beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your video with us, cannot find part 1. Please, don't change your way of life in Bhutan, it should remain as an example to all of us from the west who spend their life in greed.

  • i cant find part 1

  • I am afraid, youtube has blocked that video because this video was blocked to copyright. My friend uploaded it by cancelling that program. I will what I can do to put part 1 back. I still have got the dvd. Thanks for ur information.

  • nice expedition movie.

  • I agree with you. Thanks for watching it.

  • I love this video!

I am trying to go to Bhutan, but I am too poor to afford a ticket. I do not want to spread my own culture. I want to learn about Buddhism and a peaceful way of life.

I want to make art and make friends.

    Would anyone have any suggestions?

  • Hi!, I am glad you are interested in Buddhism and in our part of the world. I will suggest what you do is visit a number of websites related to Bhutan. There are lots of websites, which might be able to help you if you try contacting the people involved with the website. In the mean time, I will see what I can do to help you.

  • If youre really interested in visiting hit me back and I'll see what i can do.

  • i'm chilip, i was in tmphu in 2004 for 5 months,

his ideas on buddhism are not very well developed oh well

are you in the UK, have you been to lunana?

  • No, I haven't been to lunana and I am not in UK. I am in Portugal doing my final year of IB. Thanks for your reply, though. Really appreciated that. Sorry for bit delay in getting back to you.

  • Hi paixx01, very nice to receive ur comment, in fact. by the looks of it, u r thinking I m the guy in the video. i m not that guy. he is Bruce Parry who is very well known for living with a very remote tribe of the world. i m a Bhutanese n i m buddhist as well. so i also know what the four nobel truths r. thanks for ur comment, anyway. it was nice to know the fact that people r watching my video as i m on the way to show how really beautiful our Bhutan is. i think u r bhutanese as well, right?

  • ukboy: think your not really getting the idea about 'desire', desire is not really the right translation IMHO; its more about attachment to results or clinging; not sure why your in Laya for this, there are temples in Thimphu. I think tourism and such should stay away from Laya, at the risk of ruining whats left of their culture; on the plus side, it was nice to see the scenery and some extended context to the rural life;
