Great song. I knew the Tina Turner version but had never heard the original. I got a copy of Raindance recently and really dig the whole album.

@spacegrape Thank you for your comment. For me and many others Essra Mohawk is the ultimate artist who has literally done it all yet still is not a houselhold name. Enjoy "Raindance" and then dive into "Primordial Lovers" that has been called the mother album of "grrrl power." It's incredible...

for some reason I'll never forget the day I heard THUNDER IN THE MORNING broadcast over WMMR back in the 70's..amazing...I just loved it and never forgot it.. Enjoy my PACK IT UP song..song about going home...everyone is determined to go home..so I also gave the song a determined sound...you'll see what I mean.. ENJOY!
