I actually think the gore makes the game somewhat better, since it's more realistic, more brutal and it reflects the reality of war much clearer...

I think gore is a huge advantage in the Call Of Duty series in terms of realism...

well imagine this, if a PTRS (russian sniper) went and hit u in the stomach for example, your guts would be falling out from your stomach, and an ally would try to help you put them back in, or in another example, you are talking with a friend in a war, and ur friend gets hit by an artillery shell, there would be nothing left but a pile of flesh.

oh and if u were hit by a bullet, it depends which type, for example if u were shot by a pistol, there might be just blood dripping to the floor, but if u were hit by a sub machine gun or a rifle, there would be a lot of your blood on the wall or floor

Uhh Did you install it to the correct Steam folder? If you have go to properties in your merciless matador mod and copy the commandlines ex: -mod (someting) and paste it on your COD 2 properties on Steam. good luck!
