  • I just got one today and I haven't sit it and I got mine brand new for 115.00

  • Get yourself a magazine!!

  • How much did you pay for this gun brand new?

  • @BNforever2009 i got mine at wallmart for 148.00 out the door.

  • I started out using a Savage 20 gauge single shot when i was in grammar school--good gun to start out with. Did a lot of sqirrel hunting with it. Now I wanna get this savage 22LR bolt action. Looks like this gun would last me for life.

  • I love mine! I have put 15,000 rounds through mine over the past 2yrs. Its still just as accurate as the day I bought it. I've painted it too many times to count in FDE, OD and several camo patterns and I only clean it once every 2-3 months. Runs great. Im gonna shoot this one till it cant shoot any more then Im gonna buy another one! lol..nice vid man.

  • i have the same rifle but with the clip lol. if u are loooking for a 22 get this one had it for 2-3 years never had a problem!

  • Thats a pretty rifle - wish i could own one too without a sh*tload of paperwork and stuff

  • How come u dont us the clip

  • Is that a full size rifle, or is it for a child

  • @gavocrazy full size

  • i think its pulling to the left because of the weight the trigger is set at. when you pull it the gun moves. this is understandable.

  • somebody cant afford a mag.

  • @HAYDZREEF Like I told another Youtube hoe (lol) I have a mag. I just (at the time) preferred to not use it. If you'll look closely though, you will see it in use in the first clip.

  • @unknownsoldierz

since I was taught that it's the first shot that counts anyway

what bearing does having the mag in or not have to do with anything lol

  • @HAYDZREEF thats what i was thinking but i have one of these and it comes with a mag he must have lost it

  • if its a single shot why would you call it a bolt action a example of bolt action would be shoot cock shoot cock shoot cock for 5 or however many rounds it takes in the chamber or magazine

  • @bigshot974 because the action is still a bolt

  • that thing a single shot?

  • get the Ruger 10/22 it's the best and the 10 shot magazine sits flush into the stock....

  • was bought at walmart? i think so lol i bought the same one there.

  • How much was your gun, and is it very accurate at 50 yards without a scope?

  • @YZ250F493 ya these are some of the most accurate 22's around

  • This rifle here actually looks good with the plastic stock. Does it have the Accu-Trigger?

  • i have the same gun and love it

  • hey did you ever shoot shorts in this video?

  • is the magazine just for long rifle? and can these shoot shorts?

  • NO COKE, PEPSI

  • NOOOO DONT WASTE SODA LOL GOOD VIDEO.

  • @ilovebombs87 Indeed. I would never waste soda!...They where filled with water. :---)

  • omg thats a very smooth bolt

  • how much is it?

  • i already have a bunch of .22's have a rossi, wnchester ,10/22,ruger mk2, but there all semi auto or single shot and i dont have any bolt action weapon and i want one and i love the .22 round i love everything about them...should i get another one?

  • @butlerjohn84 -- Your dick is nothing compared to my dick.

  • why do you shoot it single shot style when you have a 10 round mag?

  • @thiris060 because he is shoot .22 shorts

  • it's a 22 how can it be a hard gun to shoot!

  • great gun, extremely light too. Mine has killed 7 rabbits, 1 fox and 1 kangaroo so far ;)

  • i have the exact same gun and love it!

  • Why not use the magazine?

  • Comment removed

  • i have a pump action one lol 22 are a joke compared to the 30 06

  • @MrAndelver --- .30-06 is a joke compared to 30 mm AA gun

  • @aviomaster 30mm AA is a joke compared to my dick..

    i win

  • what kind of ammo where you usin

  • how's the accuracy on yours? i shot one once, (and i'm a pretty good shot) and the thing would have trouble hitting the broad side of a barn

  • Just wondering, why r u loading singles?

  • @SuperR3volver because yo can load shorts in the mag

  • u should check out Marlin 983s .22 Magnum more power!

  • .22 gets the most fun out of your money!

  • That's a smoothly working and loose bolt.

  • lol my gas airsoft gun has more recoil than that

  • @kclantier360 you might have more recoil, but less power.

  • nice rilfe..and movies haha

  • i have the savage mark 2 bolt action in wood . mine came with the detachable mag . did urs come with a mag and why dont you use it ?

  • Using this gun with CCI .22 Speed rounds, the can won't do that, it will blow up. Lol. I've done this same thing, but the can flew up into the air when I hit it and, well, basically, blew up.

  • Do you prefer this gun over the Mossberg Long Rifle?

  • whos the fucking dickhead in the background- "uh miiiiisssss"

p.s i prefer open sights, more accurate for some reason

  • Nice vid dude, I have this rifle and I love it. It is some of the most fun you can have all day with 1 $10 box of ammo. I am thinking about buying their model 64 semi today. It is on super sale and will only cost me $60 bucks out the door! Which is half of what I paid for the Mark II. Enjoy your rifle for a long time!

  • the gun looks very nice,,

i want one, sucks i live in australia

  • @Titleification i do to.

and im gettin one; through a catagory A gun license

  • @SoopaMario1 how do u get a license??

dont u like have to own a farm or something haha

  • @Titleification

Hey man - we got them here too, not badly priced either.

    Steve

  • is there not a clip or magazine feature with your gun? even the bolt action can hold 5+1.

  • It's raining today, so I can't go out and shoot mine. Those Mark IIs have a hell of kick for a .22 When I shoot a rabbit or feral cat, it usually goes down and stays down.

  • do you need a licence for this gun?

  • @MrJBomb13

no. the gun is sold at wal-mart, if that says anything.

  • do you know how to open up the bolt

  • you know how to open up the bolt i dont know i just got it

  • can u put a bipod on that

  • @MrDan97 yes you can, they sell some at walmart that goes in the front sling hole (idk what its called) and you can stil put a sling on it

  • how many fps

  • Comment removed

  • Can you fill the magazine with 22 shorts, and will it cycle? I'd rather use CB shorts so I don't scare the neighbors!

  • I have the same gun, but I prefer a scope and high velocity bullets. Im guessing those are low velocity correct?

  • dude cmon that gun looks like shit you gotta get her in realtree camo and slapped a huge barska scope on there. Fuckin plastic brown stock with open sights...good lord

  • WOO VIEW NUMBER 20,000 CONGRATS!

  • So it's not a pellet gun is it? like if i shot you in the chest with that theres a good chance of death right?...i want one lol...just making sure it can entertain and protect me

  • @Ghostofgrace92 True, It's not a pellet gun. 22 rounds are very small and have low power too, but it is very possible for it to kill someone. If you want a gun for mostly protection I would suggest getting a higher caliber round, maybe a 45 acp (much more powerful) or even a 12 gauge shotgun.

  • @taterbuzz my friend just joined the national Guard and he's buying me a M1 Garand 30.06 i think that will keep them hood rats at bay ay? haha

  • @Ghostofgrace92 Sure will! :D

  • @JaredRp Who said it was a hard gun to shoot? -_-

  • nice gun man?!!

  • bolt just slid back when you pulled it back. wow what a piece. my dads winchester is made better and has the same accuracy or better

  • @adamclark94 The bolt is supposed to slide back when you pull it back..... And of course every kid thinks that their dads gun is the best in the world! I have one of these savage mkII's and it cost $120. You're not looking for Anschutz quality when you buy a $120 .22

  • This the vid you say you got the partner thing?

Dumb question. Is that a real weapon? :p

  • @seegerts15 Yes it is a real weapon. -_- Yeah this is the video. And yeah I couldn't believe this simple video would become popular enough to get youtubes attention either... Hmm, wonder how much money they would pay you for partnership. :s Meh, becoming a youtube partner is pure evil. Annoying the piss outta people with adds. >.>

  • @unknownsoldierz Becoming a partner is is Greed tehe! moneh moneh and lots of moneh!!

  • @unknownsoldierz AND GETTING MONEY.

  • @unknownsoldierz this gun doesnt sound very loud. my dad has a remington .22 and that bitch sounds like a .300

  • @seegerts15 how isn't it a real weapon? take a bullet than ask that question again you self centered ass hole

  • thts a cute little toy were did u get tht

  • @heathenscross Just so you know, a .22 CAN drill through your skull, and rattle inside, piercing every inch of your brain and turning it into a bloody mush. Not to mention, .22's have range. So somebody could pop a quick headshot off at you no problem from any range. Next time you think a firearm's weak, think of how many ways you could get killed by it. And trust me, there're tons.

  • Just to let ya know...you can adjust the open sights for windage. Just drift the rear sight to the left or right.

  • i have a 1940 22. cal. lever action rifle and it works amazing!

  • mine is a Savage/Stevens i forget what model because its not right here with me, its at my father's home. but it is basically the same thing as this, just a grey stock instead of the black. 10 round magazine, bolt action, 2 position safety, but i have a 3-9X43 simmons scope on it.

  • "ya cant hit nothin cause ya aint gotta scope on it"

  • doesnt savage mark 2 comes with a 5 round mag or something.

  • no, it comes with a 10 round mag. you can actually fit an 11th in there, but it doesnt work as well and as efficiently

  • @JgGooden you can also just load one in chamber and 10 in mag, but yeah, 11 will fit but i wouldnt suggest it, lol

  • @cxiong116 it comes with a 10 round but you can get 5 round mags for it.

  • man the recoil dosent kick wow!

  • is a .22 that quiet to not wear ear protection?

  • @Pilotsofer unless you're using a suppressor, you should always wear hearing protection when using firearms. whether its a .22 short, or a .50BMG, hearing damage is cumulative, a 22short will put put 100+db which over time will damage ur hearing.

  • Thanks.

  • Does any body know where to buy a front sight for this rifle? Because mine broke.

  • what ammo are you using?

  • so..........after your 87 shots, have you hit the target?

  • How's that savage bolt action rifle? I was thinking about buying one

  • I own the FV, which has the varmint barrel.... It shoots MOA out to 100 yards with good subsonic/match ammo if I do my part... buy it

  • is the barrel supressed

  • When doing as much shooting as this guy had been doing, it was probably a pain in the ass to remove magazine, reload, and slap it in the well. One at a time is actually more efficient in the end.

  • WE HAVE A WINNER! :-D

  • @poobert That's funny... it takes me about 5-7 seconds to load 10 rounds in my Mark II mags, 2 seconds to change mags, & about a half second to open & close the bolt to eject spent cartridge & load next bullet... there's no possible way loading one at a time is more efficient, not when he's taking about 5 seconds to eject brass, load round, & close bolt. Of course, at 1:48 I hear mention "shorts" which would have to be loaded one at a time because the rifle is not designed for shorts in the mag

  • @chaosdsm if you load rounds in your magazine at the same rate per, you end up wasting the time putting the mag in/out. the rate at which you load your mags would be equal to how much you can slip them in the chamber 1 by 1. You might be able to beat him loading mags while he slips em in 1 by 1, but you wont beat yourself. if ya know what i mean jelly bean!! =P

  • @poobert I think it is Uberti that came out with a revolver-action rifle. I could be wrong, but it would surely fix the magazine woes you speak of

  • It does, in fact have a magazine. And I was using the magazine more than half the time we where out there. As a matter of fact, you can see that I have the mag in the gun at the first of this video. 0:06

  • @wolfgaaaang lol ur a retard

  • @wolfgaaaang most bolt actions have magazines.

  • not sure if my other cmment showed up, please ignore it

  • Your loading that from the bolt.

    Why are you doing that?

  • dont that shit have a magazine dude?

  • its a single shot bolt action rifle..

  • no that is not a single shot its a bolt action

  • zombie killers

  • Thank you for using iron sights like a man

  • with a 9 times scope this thing is a ground hog sniper at 100-200 yds

  • I actually use this gun, its very good but I find mine has a tendancy to jam with soft lead bullets, I use this for small game hunting

  • Getting this rifle today!!!!!

  • what would be a better rifle a savage mark 2 lr or the ruger 10/22

  • Well it depends, the ruger 10/22 is a semi-auto meaning after you fire a round it loads the next one in and you can fire again until there is no ammo left, the savage is a bolt action meaning you must cycle the bolt to load the rifle. Bolt actions are good for hunting and if you just want to plink and have a ball then get a 10/22, you do realize the 10/22 is about $250 new and a savage is about $100 right?

  • Well here a ruher and a savage are about the same price(Canada) My cousin has a ruger and it looks nice feels nice and i love semi-automatic shooting,The savage is looks awesome and again feels good, i heard good things about the ruger and good things about the savage so yeah im twisted

  • Bolt actions of the same quality are generally more accurate so i would say if you are a target shooter such as myself get a savage mark 2. I am getting the savage mark 2 bv soon.

Check out some pictures, personally i love the style.

    Hope that helps you,

    Gordon

  • I want a Ruger 10 22

  • how much does 22. ammo cost?

  • maby $5-10 bucks for 500 rounds

  • about 3.50 for 50 bullets.

    depends

  • 22 shorts can be used for deer...hollow tip to the neck, gets em' every time.

  • but using .22 rimfire is not leagle for big game

  • its not legal in most states but it can kill them. i dont see why you would want to use a .22 though when you could use a shotgun or a high power rifle and take the deer out quicker and with more accuracy.

  • Hehe. What model is YOUR AK, and what size mag do you use? What sort of choke do you use for YOUR shotguns? :>

  • Firearm*

  • can you not put a scope on a bolt action?

  • Are you being sarcastic? If not, yes you can put a scope on most every firearms, although it may not be reccomended for some.

  • i want one of these

  • camera position 69

  • my savage 22 has shot over 5,000 rounds in 4 years and now its has taken a toll on it

  • Does this rifle have iron sights at the end of the barrel? I shoot my dad's copy of it and he only uses a scope for aiming and wanna know if you use regular sights on it.

  • looks to have a little nub on the end. Kinda like pistol sights

  • is this a single shot .22? how much was it and were did you buy it

  • whose the dumbfuck in the backround saying "miss" , "miss". Must be hard to shoot with him around.

  • Nothing wrong with a .22. Is not a 30/06 but a lot of fun nonetheless. I have a Savage 64 auto loader and it is accurate. Your rifle is accurate too. All Savage rifles are accurate. I have never shot an inaccurate Savage Arms rifle.

  • Wasnt that kind of rifle used by the russian resistance back in ww2?

  • It looks like you are not wearing hearing protection. The sonic boom of the .22 LR (the crack sound) will take its tole on your hearing!

  • LOL no it won't. I've shot a box of 500 without any problems. No ringing or anything.

  • WHAT??

  • It's called quit being a pussy a .22lr doesn't make my damn ears ring

  • It is called stop being an ass. I have shot guns my whole life and a .22 even being a small caliber can hurt your ears.

  • i have one too. how often do you clean yours? I rarely do, but once in a while

  • Actually it turns out it wasn't a .22 anyway.. it was a .223 rifle. Considerably louder haha

  • .223 is like 10x more powerful than a .22

You must not know much about ammunition. LOL

  • Very quiet... the .22 I shot was loud as shit.. Had my ears ringing

  • man this gun is awesome it was the first firearm i ever bought only mine did not come with gun strap stud did yours or u installed it urself

  • yeah i have that gun shes pretty nice ive dropped a few moose in my day with her

  • Wow, really, at what range?

If you're telling the truth that's seriously impressive.

  • head shot, moslt likely eyes, at 10-40 yards.

  • great vid anyways tho

  • man i remember shooting this and then i moved on great gun tho one of my faves ever shoot a 300 mag rifle? it gives some major recoil

  • Yeah the Mark II is a fun gun to shoot. And cheap. :P lol. And nope I've never shot a 300 magnum before. :(

  • that guy who said you have to reload is a retard because this gun comes with a clip where is your clip?

  • My brother had the clip, I just felt like loading it manually at that moment. :p
