@yzak10 Because all Apple computer products are designed in the USA and built in China or Taiwan. Foxconn is a Taiwanese company and they manufacture the Mac Mini along with other Apple stuff, If production halted in China and Taiwan Apple would be well and truly screwed..

Asus have seen a massive gap in the market combined with dwindling netbook sales figures and they're fighting back for their share of the market, Apple have nothing to fear and neither do Asus.

@yzak100 Actually everyone tend to do better products than Apple and for LESS cost. Apple did not invented the Tablets or Smartphones (between other things). Those concepts already existed. Unfortunately they were engineered at a bad time, when mobile networking was still in sketch phase. Therefore, people at that time were not demanding networking solutions, there was no market for such devices.
