Now i might sound dumb, but,I plan to maybe get this bass, from what I've heard so far, people say to save my money and get a squier jazz bass, should I buy a Squier or stick with the Fender,I feel more towards buying the Fender than Squier
@screamoutloud77 Uhhhh, you're comparing a $600 bass to a $300 bass. I think it's clear which one is better. Unless you perhaps mean the SR500 instead of the SR300.
You're really good! Good to know there's other lefty bassists out there. Also, I looove your taste in music. I'm glad I'm not the only young person that still has good taste in music.
I live in Canada and am having a real hard time finding a store or online store that has the SR500L. Seems no one carries them or can even order one for me. I can however get an SR300L with no problem and at a very good price. Is there a huge difference in the 2 models? I am sure you have played both the 300 and 500. :)
@PsychoGuppy I have played both the 300 and 500 at my local samash, however ive only played the 300 once or twice because it sold really fast. After considering the price and stuff for both models, I would still go with the 500 because the pickups are better, and it has the active EQ. However if there is none available, id say to absolutely go for the SR300L. You cant go wrong with ibanez. My first bass should have been the ibanez SR300L. It seems like a good deal. Just dont go for a Rogue.
Hey i am a lefy as well. I am looking at getting a new bass. I am thinking of getting the one you are playing or an Ibanez SR500L. Which do you prefer?
@PsychoGuppy well, I like the ibanez because of the active circuitry, and you can dial in a nice tone with the EQ. I think they are about the same in price range, so I would suggest the ibanez. I just got the fender because I like to have that fender type sound. But they are both very nice basses
@BassDude50000 I live in Canada and am having a real hard time finding the SR500L. Seems no online store has them or can get them. I can order an SR300L no problem and at a really good price. Is there a huge difference in the 2 models? I am sure you have tried both the 300 and 500. :)

@superdeeduper51 Go for the FSR Jazz instead. It has an Ash body and it's about 100 bucks cheaper.
