  • Happy 69th video.

  • hell yea dude that is a really awesome test with a hypsilophodon

  • My boy being a dino fan is what all true warriors thrive for.

  • How do I turn a Diamond on my model into a Circle without subdividing edges?

  • @Pikman01 I think that's what the subsurf modifier is for, under the modifiers tab.

  • Amazing... Hey do you think you could give me a hand with a model I'm trying to work on? It's the 10th anniversary for a character I created and I want to make an animation. :D

  • @Vahkiti Theoretically, I could. But I warn you, I'm still quite a noob.

  • @Vrahno You? Hell I never even got this far. :P I modeled it once before, I fucked up the leg, an then I got stumped on the rigging. The project finally ground to a halt when I realized that my errors prevented me from properly texturing the model. It was a disaster to say the least.

  • @Vahkiti I can't say my path was without its obstacles either. But at least I gained some experience through my journeys.

Whaddaya want me to help you in, exactly?

  • @Vrahno Well, the original model is probably useless, but by my standards, it LOOKS pretty good. even if it is simple:

    facebook(DOT)com/photo.php?fbid=2392521698164&l=0903859bc7

I think it needs to be completely remade. I think most of the detail can better be done with textures so all I really need help making is the basic structure and maybe some pointers on rigging.

  • Doesn't look that bad to me either TBH, apart from the obvious elbow-oddities. The same issue I had. I can't see the exact problem with yours, but I fixed mine by lining up the vertices in the elbow into a straight line from side-view, doing the same with the armature bones (so that they would connect where the faces forming the elbow meet) and lightly weight painting the arm so that the lower arm bone would control the bottom of the upper arm and vice versa.

Uh, running out of space. Lets PM!
