@nicolugdu Not to mention that France has had fewer problems with racism than in the USA and the fact that the USA and France have never been at war with each other. Perhaps the USA and France don't always see eye to eye on policy but France and the USA have always been friendly. Finally, you can't blame France on what the Nazi animals did. The brightest days in 1944 were the Normandy landings and the day the du Gaule entered Paris. As an American, I salute France and the French people !!!

@sinuoussausage No one... and no country is perfect... and if the citizens of France have not elected a black president yet then they can say they didn't segregate races like some other countries... even my beloved USA cannot make that claim. The "elected president" argument is terribly weak because it becomes infinitely regressive. I stand by my praise of France.

Without the USA, the French would be speaking German, (WW2-the American army was a tide turner)
And without the British, the Americans never would of been able to save France (all western attacks were staged from Britain)
