Interesting fact only one of a few organism that really grows like 1000x his size. They start of as a 3 mm actually looking like a normal fish baby. They indeed grow to about 600 pound but some are reported to be a 1000 pounds useally about 1.5 m or approximately 5 to 6 feet long.

  • ITs called A "SUN FISH!!!" LOOK IT UP!!

  • as an X commercial fisherman from the coast of Washington State USA i can tell you these creatures don't only like tropical waters!!! They are seen almost daily off the coast of Washington state by all types of fishermen. They are huge fish in some cases larger than a man by far!! Most are seen with what are known as halibut hooks in the rear large fin from fishermen trying to snag one. They are strong, evasive swimmers if hooked breaking very strong metal leader and nylon net lines to get away!

  • it's a mola mola > I heard they smell like rotten garbage

  • @EarthquakePrep it looks like a half eaten turtle

  • Its looks like a blue wheal .Don't you think !!!!!

  • @SaltySangster False. You are in fact the idiotic one. The swim bladder is filled with air, kind of like a buoy, and helps the fish move up towards the surface and to descend into lower depths of the water. And as age progresses in a fish, it weakens and the fish is unable to control how it moves, therefore, causing the fish to accidentally move towards the surface and, as said before, lose it's directional capabilities. I'm learning this is 8th grade science. Karma's a bitch, isn't it?

  • I've seen one close up when i was a young boy out fishin with my dad in the coastal waters of Burgeo Newfoundland about 6 kms west of Burgeo

  • I've seen one on a dive right when i got in the water. He swam up to me and then "gtfo."

  • @Psychophantasmagoria You can eat that fish meat in Japan. The made it in sashimi and etc...

  • @kuciaotopi You can eat anything from the sea in Japan, except whales of course cause they are just for scientific testing

  • @Swampdog36 scientific eating.....

  • @kuciaotopi Dude, you can even eat whales in japan, thats why the organization called "Sea Shepard" or something are trying to stop the japs during whaling seasons.....

  • @claydle actually if you watch that video again, they said "that's not a dolphin".

  • uhhh it is pretty ugly looks like it is related to "Chuck Norris"and all his followers :)

  • they come to the surface to attract seagull, becauese they pick away the parasites the Fish suffer from.

  • @hellknight1984 love the way you argue, it's awesome. :)

By the way, does anyone know if you can eat those or are they on an endangered list? If so, are they any delicious?

  • its a Sun FISH

  • @AdashofMutant lies and slander, its deff a snorlax with fins

  • yup sun fish not a big deal

  • the fish was dying, age will cause the swim bladder to weaken and eventually like you just saw, cause the fish to lose it's directional capabilities

  • @hanglowlikeballsin83 You idiot. Sunfish are called sunfish precisely because they swim near the surface to bask in the sun. How would you possibly know the effects of age on Mola mola bladder tissue? You moron. Do you have a single friend? I can tell you that your parents wish they had aborted you.

  • @zeze40video he said that cuz they said the fish are normally in tropical waters but it was in cooler waters so it was where it normally wouldnt go

  • @FreakOnALeash247 Dear Freak - I was replying to - "the fish was dying, age will cause the swim bladder to weaken and eventually like you just saw, cause the fish to lose it's directional capabilities

    hanglowlikeballsin83 2 months ago"

Sunfish are also common in cold Pacific waters.

  • @hanglowlikeballsin83

....and thank you for that upbeat message.....aaaaagggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhttht!

  • @hanglowlikeballsin83 fucking idiot, its a sunfish they surface so that sea gulls and other smaller fish can eat away parasites, i hate idiots that think they are smart, you litterally just made 24 people less intelligent.

  • @hanglowlikeballsin83 ummmm.... what are you basing this claim on?

  • @hanglowlikeballsin83 Poor thing. :c

  • Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a Sun Fish.

  • That's not a dolphin..... All I know is that imma go eat some pancakes now

  • OMG this means its a dinosaur and we MUST convert to christianity and pay 10% of our income to the church!!!......

  • @hellknight1984 I dont pretend to be intelligent. Mr high and mighty self important I am look at me i am wonderfull. To be honest mate you sound a right cunt! i dont evan know you and i dont like you. yes my spelling is absolutely atrocious it dose not mean im a lesser person than you just because you can spell. What gave you the right to abuse me? I was not directing a insult to one individual just makeing a remark that some did not know it was a sun fish. The world dose not revolve around you.

  • @looneybinbri I am an autistic retard with ADD/OCD with an IQ of 86. (Normal is 100-110 IQ). I live here in the USA. (I'm retarded but never voted for Bush. I 'm not that foolish.) Hellknight1984 is correct. He isn't abusing you. You live in the UK, I would think you would know how to spell English words in the land where English was invented.

  • called a sunfish

  • @ethernique so there is someone with some inttelligence.there not evan that odd we get them in the english channel quite often.they come to the surface to be cleaned of parasites.

  • @looneybinbri Capitalize words at the beginning of a sentence. Spaces after periods. Evan is a name, even is an adverb. Intelligence is spelled incorrectly. Don't critique people if you failed to acquire 5th grade writing mechanics....

  • its a shame you didnt have a stick to poke it with

  • tropical waters? thats BS i see at least 3 every time i go out into the Pacific
