I worked backstage when Barry was with Cheese and Onion at the Wellington Theatre, Gt Yarmouth, summer season 1982. They were both really nice guys and very funny. They gave all the crew engraved pens with their names and the name of the show. I still have mine. Good to see Barry is still doing stand up.
I remember Barry Cheese at Butlins Barry Island in the 80's... Have photo's to remember it by too. What a cracking bloke & an amazing set that he did. Would love to see his old 'Chicken 'n' Chips' routine set in a chinese restaurant! :)
