Ok, Howard Gould. You think the U.S. should give the IMF billions or trillions more to prepare third world countries for climate change such as sea level rising, desertification, deforestation and loss of natural resouces, and just exactly what would they do with the money? In other words you support worldwide welfare paid for mostly by the U.S.
What Howard DOESN'T understand is that corporations only give a MINORITY of the funds donated to CEI. If he'd read up, he'd realize it's nowhere near 50% or even 60%. What an idiot. Where'd they find this guy?
Desertification?? Lol. Yeah, right. Why doesn't Gould look into the Medieval Warming Period or Holocene Optimum for a change?? Oh, yeah, that's right! He probably has NEVER HEARD OF EM. He just assumes this level of warming is the first time this has happened.
A 1500-year warming cycle just makes sense, even w/o the evidence. What kind of idiot believes that the Earth's climate is just gonna stay the same throughout time until humans come along to "fuck it up"?? come on
This kind of nonsense is grossly UNCONSTITUTIONAL!! The federal gov't nowhere in the Constitution is allowed to give money to OTHER governments or institutions, esp. internationally. American federal funds must only be spent on American federal projects, and that of course does not include the welfare state. It also excludes pork-barrel spending.
First of all, isn't the IMF mainly in existence to supposedly keep world trade stable and give funds to countries who have negative balance of payments?? If anything, wouldn't the World Bank be doing this?
And secondly, this is so ridiculous. Yeah... let's just fork over $100 Billion for the IMF to suposedly "fight climate change." w/ NO acocuntability whatsoever.
Not happenin. If the IMF wants more money, it can raise the funds on its own, not much off US taxpayers. fuck em
Everyone should read "Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1500 Years" to get the real scoop on global warming. There is warming, but it's CYCLICAL and natural, and this century's warming certainly isn't the worst. Maybe we should send copies of this book to EVERY university professor and scientist who still advocates alarmism?
Chris horner is the man. He makes the spirit of Ayn Rand smile.

So do we deduct what we owe from what humanitarian aid we've provided for years? I think the third world is in the red then.

@whoo689
Anybody with a lick of common sense would be able to figure that out without reading a book. Just ask someone who is about 80 years old.

Mr. Gould, can you say owned? Or is that heavily supported by the fossil fuel industry as well?

The IMF is a Progressive slush fund for their projects. They want to use bogus global warming to leach off the US economy.
