  • GAME AND MOVIE ARE COMPLETE SHIT, I HIGHLY DOUBT EITHER DIRECTORS READ THE BOOK...

  • will this film has a second on i mean Eragon 2

  • movie sucked. if i hadn't read eragon then i probably would have liked it. the only things that are good about the movie are that they got the characters brom, durza, saphira and murtagh right

  • durza was so epic in the movie, he reminds me of... me

  • the guy who do "durza" is kindda....just to normal!!!

  • hahaha at the beginning: "we could present alagasia in a way neither the books nor the film did." PERFECT phrase right there, old chap.

  • COMEON SOMEBODY!!! make a eragon game based on the book!!! PLEASE!!!

  • Actually the game is better than the movie tersheytunnel. The video game is freakin awesome. When I was reading books 1&2 I thought, "If they make a movie out of this it'll either be the best movie ever made, or the worst". It was pretty much the worst movie ever made off of a book.

  • the movie isn't bad its just that its completly off the book ;line and it was squashed down to fit it in to 2 hours of film

  • No, actually the film IS crap.

  • In My Opinion The Movie Was Good

  • I understand, but most people hated it, and that's why a sequel won't be made. I mean, they wrote out the Elves, for Christ sake. Arya was a human in the movie (notice she didn't have pointy ears, and wasn't called an Elf once). Were the Dwarves even in the film? I can't remember.

Not to mention the whole endearing core of the film involving Saphira growing up was skipped completely. She just flies into the air and then super-grows into adulthood.

  • Oh, and as for the painfully important training section of the story . . . how many session with Brom do we get in the film? One. Just one, that's it.

The film's length is shorter than most romantic comedies, and as such can barely tell a third of the book's story. To me, that is crap, but you it's good, so let's just agree to dissagree.

  • yeah, I like it too

because of the film I started reading the book and I became a Garrett and Murtagh fan^^

  • @EragonFreaky I didn't really like the film. The storyline got messed up

  • @EragonFreaky ahhhh no no no.

  • @EragonFreaky I thought it would have been good if I hadn't read the book. But since I read the book the movie was just so different. however, like I said if I hadn't read the book I think I would have liked it.

  • @EragonFreaky I agree!!The film was great! It could be better 'cause they canceled a lot of important parts from the book but it is still one of my favourite movies!

  • @AspaLefebvre Totally agree with every word!

  • @EragonFreaky I agree. I wasn't as good as the book, but still enjoyable. I'd like to see an Eldest movie.

  • omg....i love that game! i have the nintendo ds, gameboy advance, and pc versions.

me and my friend always play 2 player on th pc. i play as murtagh lol

  • i thought both were really good, even comparing them to the book

  • No, the film isn't crap. The book is longer than the film and has more detail, that's all. You might have imagined things differently when you read the book... which is why you probably didn't like the movie. The movie is different from the book in a few ways because they can't cram hours and hours of reading into a 90 minute film. And the game is alright. It has co-op so you can play with a friend. It's fun. =] Games based on movies are usually relesed if the movie was a hit.

  • thanks (:

I could not have had said it better (I hope the grammar is right...)

  • No problem. =] Yeah, think the grammer's alright.

  • unfortunately, when I play games based on a film, I am usually disapointed because the game could have been better.

  • Even when they are great they can still improve tho, so that sort of aplies to everything.

  • @marcosaberenguer no, dude, you are so wrong. of course it couldn't be a carbon copy of the book, neither was lord of the rings. but they left out VITAL plot points, cast it horribly (tall orik, arya sans pointy ears), distorted the characters, and pretty much raped the shit out of the story.
