I see people saying 'what's the use' but actually my dad (and now me) have carried knives like this for many years on keychain. you'd be surprised how many uses.... opening packages, cutting loose threads off of clothing, cutting a bad spot off of that apple or banana (lol) .... any number of things. there IS a market for high quality keychain knives since many are chintzy or dull. i'm trying to decide between this and spyderco bug
do you actually need a large knife? i bet if someone stuck this thing into your neck you would stop bothering them pretty quick, only advantage a large knife has over this is a bit more range depending on how long the blade is, this is just fine for self defense. if you dont think so, go buy one, stab yourself in the chest and see if it works.
for people not understand the usefullness of this. Lugging around a normal sized knife isn't easy to conceal this on the other hand is. And if you are close to someone or if someone is a threat they won't see this nor will they expect it when you stab it in their throat. giving you ample time to run or w/e.
@alchemykillr Lol, dude. There are much larger knives out there that are easily concealable. This would in no way be useful as a tactical knife. It's not even one handed opening. You say that the guy would never see the knife but it's not like he isn't going to notice you reaching in your pocket with one hand and then using the other one to try and open it. If I was attacking some guy and he pulled that out, I would just laugh at him.
it's to open boxes, mail, etc. it's convenient and for those that work in a place where knives aren't allowed people will look at this and think "ohh cute!!" not "oh shit this guy is psycho!!!"
make it auto and add a lazer aimer (so you know exactly where you're going to stab someone) and it would be the perfect tactical folding knife....(jk obviously)
I'm kind of like you, I don't know. But I see a lot of people walking around with these in their pocket. It's usually businessmen that need a little something to open a box or clean dirt from under their fingernails.
should i get this knife cause i do case reviews and open packages, envelopes, boxes alot do you think i could use this knife? do you think i could use this knife to open packages and stuff?
I feel bad for the poor son of a bitch who gets killed by one of these!

The little leprechaun who lives in my chestnut tree just wet his pants -when I showed him this video.
Just goes to show even a level headed company like SOG can have brain farts like the rest of us.

iPodOperator 1 year ago 2
@denns25 You can clean a fish with this knife. Other blades are too big and cut into the internal organs, releasing unwanted tastes into the flesh.
NexsyWhite 1 year ago
@NexsyWhite If you know what you're doing you can clean a fish with a 10 inch fillet-knife.
Takkiebos 10 months ago
@Takkiebos Yes, that's true. I was only saying there are very useful things you can do with small knives, even in the field.
