  • the cow is like whatever..kill me LOL

  • "Hey, no worries, let me just pull this fucking baby out of you."

  • He needs a band-aid

  • @prepkillerGS He? He? He? Hohoho!

  • Super appropriate music. I club-danced to these images.

  • That don't look right

  • fuck sake just through up !!

  • is the cow dead

  • if the cow was in pain it would of been flippin out, so this obviously didnt hurt the cow in eny way

  • fuckin messs !!!!!!

  • is this cow still alive or did she die after this operation?? never saw something like this..

  • Why does everyone use this music, it's so common you could call it the national anthem of youtube

  • Animals slaughtering and killing brought me here...My eye tears watching this Veterinary saving a calf's life...

  • BTW, all, Google "Belgian Blue cattle" truly impressive.

  • God i bet everyone that adds this damn song to there video is fucking Gay...

  • It sucks though cuz they cost ridiculous amounts of money, I hate how they use wire for stitches

  • Thank you for saving that cow nice people

  • song??

  • Does the mother survive this process and if so would she then ever be able to produce another calf again due to the strain on her body? Great video, very interesting.

  • Why the gay music? Who the fuck would listen to this shit? Could you imagine singing along to this?

  • Wow, and I thought my labours were tough!! Poor Mrs cow!!

    Great job!!

  • hurt her any?

  • vieja panzona conchatumadre xq no te habres la panza tu pobre animal como no sabe hablar bazura de mierda

  • holly fuck......

  • is shesm not feeling pain at all ?

  • wtf

  • very nice, thank you for sharing

  • Hopefully that poor sob had It's nervous system all fucked up. He's chillin like a villain while some lady be killin his.. oh wait

  • Well done to that lovely lady. A true professional.

  • wow fantastic

  • Holy shit what are u givin that cow

  • i find this hard to masterbate to

  • awww and ewwwww RIP headphones at the start thumbs up if u agree

  • that looked so fucking brutal :o

  • No wonder vets have a high suicide rate.

  • cow was never in distress, laying there chewing its cood.

  • OMG that cow will never get pregnant again in her life. I hope she recovers well

  • @holuwartozin how do you figure that?? humans have more babies after a caesarian, as do horses so why not cows??

  • hey,,, great job,,

  • How the fuck did i get here? I was about to watch a documentary about public transportation and this is where i end up.

  • i hope thoes people die i slow and painful death !!!!!!

  • @MegaBrydie lol why? just like what they do on people if they cant have their babies

  • @BollynEmma Because i think its crule i dont think i would like that to happen to me..... and i felt soooo sorry for that cow.....

  • @MegaBrydie I hope you're not saying what they did to the mother cow was cruel, because what they did saved this life of both the mother and calf. You'd rather die with your unborn child than have a C-section?

  • @VladimirScarf Well im sorry for getting mixed up:/ .

  • that cow had to be really really really sedated. DAMN!!

  • is the cow ok after that?

  • What the fuck are you doing? lucky draw? you fucking cold blood

  • step#1-click mute

step#2-make your favorite meal containing beef

    step#3-eat,watch and enjoy!!

step#4-go clean vomit off of clothes

  • obviously its numb if it barely flinches

  • She looks like she's digging into her deep pockets for some change...

  • did you need to give her a bag after to get her up or did she get up on her own?

  • omg, why did i clicked this?

  • brb got to go puke

  • Doesn't this hurt the cow?!

  • Чё за бредятина?

  • this need 2 STOP

  • One more thing.,,, theyre suppose to wear gloves.,,

  • Cow(mom) : i dont care just get that baby out of my system.,,, lol

  • iv been at three Caesareans, and im always impressed as to how fast mum is back on her feet. good vid

  • WTF !!

  • Very good that You showing that. Sometimes people from Citys dont know nothing about it.

    Nice caf.

  • what is it with this fucking tune!

  • i didnt even know it was possible..what happen with the caw after??? why it had to be done that way why not natural??

  • @jtdc86 Calf too big, would have killed mum and calf if the operation wasnt carried out

  • @TheOrkneyblues Again, what happens to the cow afterwards? I suspect she is sent to slaughter.

  • @volizaable Ofcourse noth?? why are you thinking that the farmer will do a operation like this that coush a loth of money and than afther it bring the cow tho the slaughter? They just stitches the cow probably and the cow need 1/2 week some medicans and a good keeping eye from the farmer so it wont geth infected and than there is nothing wrong with the cow and you can keep him ;) (sorry for bad inglesh i am from netherlannds)

  • @jtdc86 Because of the enourmes muscles on, her normal "opening" for the calf is to tight. These cows has no limitations for their muscle growth, because they are missing a gene called myostatin. They are a mutation

  • @MrAnthemboy Because of the enourmes muscles, her normal "opening" for the calf, is to tight*

  • thumbs up if u muted the vid then liked it

  • Good job. Once you see this live, it changes your outlook on cows, calfs and what cattle farming is all about.

  • so the video was very good but i wish that stupid music wasnt in the background.....some people actually want to learn from youtube.

  • Big fat ass calve.

  • Comment removed

  • Do the cows get numbed first, I hope.

  • holy shit. she gave that cow c-section. thats incredible

  • Comment removed

  • why the fuck am I here watching this?

  • Awake for this WOW

  • the uploader is as ? as the music.every body know s what ? is .

  • Did you cast the cow/not have a crush? Or did the vets just go ahead with the cow lying down? Just wondering cos I've only seen C-sections from standing but this seems pretty good.

  • @IMightJustBeWrong

the other one was standing up, it far easier an quicker tbh

  • The cows just fucking sitting there and taking it

  • Let's eat a Big Mac.....

  • Why does the music matter.

  • have to say that was pretty cool

  • ive actually seen this done before, the cow was even still standing up!

  • @nzoomed

quite right and its better, this one said nuh im sitting take it or leave it!

  • Mmm, veal.

  • 5:47 .. could've broken some ribs.

  • i just bought 2 bb calf but they r out off British Friesian and Holstein-Friesian so they born natruely, hope to own lots of purebreed bb when iam older caesarean is alot of work but i think bb r the best breed of beef catle

  • HAHAHA; I love how the cows like yeah... ive got a hole in me, but w/e im still chexwin my cud

  • wtf

  • cool,,,,you dont have to do this to bb cows all the time,,,

  • this is what I wish to do as a profession :/

  • Wish there was commentary for educational purposes instead of that gay music.

  • @PaleFaceKilla

I didnt think a Red Neck would have understood a running commentary ;)

  • @TheOrkneyblues I agree with PaleFace I would have much preferred an informative commentary versus a song we've all heard too many times to count.

  • @TheOrkneyblues i would, that seems enough ;)

  • @PaleFaceKilla Youtubers get paid if they ask to put it on their videos as the soundtrack. True story.

  • @PaleFaceKilla

As for the surgery and the birth - all three parties have intervened without any Gege hygiene and gloves in the cow around her belly - you would have thought, there are butchers at work.

Have to say much about all the parties involved do not.

Sad, how to deal with the life of an animal.

  • @halima1968 i've seen many operations on cattle, never once have i saw a vet use gloves, they use loads of disinfectant, and disinfectant on the area where they operate. and never once have i seen an animal die from anything related to infection from the wound, never.

  • @halima1968

your clearly talking out of your arse, we were all scrubbed down with surgical disinfectant, the cow was in perfect health and remains in perfect health, stick to your toy poodle mate and not with matters that you cant comprehend!

  • Massive calf. Madness putting a pb bb into a whitehead. Pure greed.

  • @ryleyification

They were British Blue Embryo transfers, our first hence I didnt know what to expect and wasnt going to take a chance with either cow or calf

I run a pedigree BB with Angus, Simmental and heifers, I have NOT had one C section, all born naturally and just a handful using the calving aid. ,

  • @ryleyification

    True....but thats what they do....suxs

  • wat fuckin arsehole bulled a friezen cow with a belgian blue. da fucker should b shot for cruelty

  • @johnnyhueston

Bulled?? Holstein Friesian?? Read the description you foul mouthed illiterate. 1st she is a Simmental X 2nd they were embryo transfer. The BB is known for producing small boned on time calves, on a negative perhaps I was a little too kind with feed, these were our 1st implanted cows?

  • Oh, Jesus, you could have chosen some more suitable music O_o

Great video, though. For educational reasons.

  • @Dunaiii

    lol, thanks :)

  • Were the CS necessary because of the size of the calf or was this just coincidence? because, I've seen many cows give birth in my country but, I've never seen any that needed a CS?

  • @Titoscudd

Vets decision, calf was stuck solid so to avoid loosing the calf a C section was the best course.

  • @Titoscudd these cows are all muscle so it is very hard for the calves to get out so they normally do a C section on these types of cows

  • that girl just sticks her arm in the cow like its nothing

  • @scott71458

That girls is a fully qualified vet

  • 4:09 Lucky for the poor calf , it's skull didn't crack =..)

  • @andydo2007vietnam

    tried to catch him, ;(

  • @TheOrkneyblues were you the one wearing green shirt +_+ ...

  • y la vaca estaba sedada?

  • Strange to see a c-section when the cow is lying down. In my country (Belgium) we always do it while standing up. Its easier en cleaner.

Nice video. I wonder how the calves look. As they have Bringlee Sandy as their mother, they must be quite big...

  • @vrmln00

hi thanks, there is a clip of them on my other videos at 7 months

    cheers

  • @vrmln00

I agree, so much easier to do it standing, but she sat down and would not get up. ive loaded a video of the calves at 6 months old in my other clips.

    thanks

  • Very interesting!

  • Oh my God, doesn't even have gloves on?

  • @annacoop0427

if you notice she fully scrubbed up with antibac scrub,,you try cutting and operating on a cow with the slime from afterbirth with gloves on, its dangerous.

  • why couldnt it have come out naturally?

  • @AintWeWack the calve was too large to come out naturally.

  • I'm glad the mother is happy enough to carry on chewing, bless her heart

  • poor cows like "it coming out the wrong side!"

  • can u upload a video of some of da calves that u sectioned i d love ta c wat der like

  • @dcos74

Thanks for asking, good idea! Just done new clip

    Cheers

  • this must be really really pain full to that cow. still nice video. thnx for the upload :)

  • @koolbull007

More so if they werent injected, I even gave them pain killers the next day.

  • Hi, I am a young farmer from Ireland. We have a largely Limousin and Charolais suckler herd with a Limosin bull doing all the work and we're considering buying another bull. My dad warns me not to even consider buying a BB bull as it will lead to difficult calving. However I have always liked the BB breed and am willing to give them a shot even if it means a bit extra work. Could you tell me a little bit about your experience with the breed? particularly at calving? Thank you.

  • @Dumbledid

    Sorry for late reply.

One thing they do is come on time, the calves are usually smaller, I would say you would have more bother with a Charolais as a bull than the BB, but if you overfeed the cows, look out, the three we had out of the side were embryo transfers and I was kind with the barley, too kind!! But they were always going to come out the side anyway because of who they were coming from.

A Charolais will grow faster but is heavier boned than the BB

    Cheers

    Good luck

  • @Dumbledid well i now that bb almost always need caeserean ...

  • @Dumbledid well i now that bb almost always need caeserean ... and you know that could be dangerous because you can loose the mother and you lost moeney

  • Thank you so much - I've read about early bovine caesars in the early 50's, then more recently spoken to a farmer who bred a few blues for a while, so I know that this is the only way to deliver a donor cow of such a big calf. I wonder how many caesarian sections a donor cow can have in her life before she's "finished", as it were. Thanks for sharing this most informative sequence in the life of a large animal veterinarian.

  • @peteacher52

Thank you for your comments, I believe a cow can have 3 sections, but mine dont do more than one, and then they go to a bull from there on.

    Cheers

  • @peteacher52

I think a cow can have 3 sections, but we only do 1 and then the cow goes to the bull.

    Cheers

  • @peteacher52 we keep pure bred blue cows all of which are sectioned, we have done 6 sections on some of our cows all on the same side

  • gnarly.

  • Shame you removed your last comments.

I use these embryos to produce stock & to sell as bulls & heifers for breeding only, these will sell at the pure sales, the brother to the calf last year from Bringlee Sandy sold for 21,000 Guineas & heifers received 13,000, 11,000 & 9,500 guineas, so for a £300 embryo & a £300 section whos laughing. My suckler herd is Simmental & Limmy cows to Limmy & British Blue bulls. I hope you are successful at college & at farming but honestly sort your literacy out.

  • @TheOrkneyblues thank you

  • @dcos74

If you took the time to read the description first you would have notice that there were in fact 3 that were sectioned, the cows had embyo implants and they all come out the side. Regarding the blue, the use of the blue bull is common in fact its the most used semen for the Ai.

But I must be a fool having show winning stock, just one calf is worth more than the benefits you claim in 10 years on the dole.

  • Did they at least give her a sedative?

  • @gneerowblack

vet gave my girl 1 big injection & then used a whole bottle injecting along the area she was going to cut. The injection used causes loss of pain sensation & paralysis including loss of muscle power. Before she begain stitching she gave her another 2 injections when she started stitching the womb & then the hide.

She was content, eating, chewing the cud & from her calm demeanour she was not in pain, she received further injections the following day. Thanx

  • sorry only read description now

  • what sire?? empire? looks a great calf

  • @MrPatrickos77

    Grand Dam was Bringlee Sandy,

Dam was Henlli Catrin and sire was Gambin Des 3 Frontiers

  • thank you

  • was the vet wearing any type of gloves i mean isn't that unsanitary for them to be sticking there hands in her stomach like that

  • @kagome461

Hi what you don't see is the vet scrubbing down 3 times at the start and during the operation both of herself and her waterproofs with antibacterial scrub, the animal then underwent 5 days of injections with Pen & Strep to counteract any infection etc. Thank you for the comment

  • That looks really painful for the cow. Was it given anything for pain relief?

  • @chinesemusicDJ

    Hi

The vet would not even think about starting an operation without giving anesthetic and pain killers, if you look you will notice she is even chewing the cud, if she was in pain she would have been making a huge amount of noise and would not have been just lying down. Thanks.

  • @TheOrkneyblues

Ah thanks, but are these procedures really necessary for the cow or human for that matter to be awake? Wouldn't it go smoother if the patient was fully out by medication? Thanks for answering though.

  • @chinesemusicDJ

    Hi there

I am not a vet but I gather is safer to do it this way, the best and neatest way is if the cow is actually standing, but at all times she is completely paralised to any pain etc

  • @TheOrkneyblues

Also is this how most blue cows are birthed since they have such large muscle masses? I wonder do Belgian blue cows give birth naturally or do they need Cesareans as well..

  • @chinesemusicDJ

    Hi again

It all depends on the cow and calf and the feed given prior to birth, you might get 3 out of 10 cows needing assistance like this

but due to the value of these particular calves I wont gamble with their life.

  • I am not a vet but from what I saw the vet gave my girl 1 big injection & then used a whole bottle injecting along the area she was going to cut.

Thanx

  • there is so much intelligence in these animals, after i saw meet your meat on youtube....i became vegetarian!

  • Hi

Thanx, I understand and respect how you feel. Its seems like its a hard world that we live in.

    Think of it another way.

Given the choice between a non existant life or one of being able to eat what you want, bull the ladies every week and being in the country every day without a worry or care in the world, not knowing the future but knowing that you are being cared for and whatever happens you will be treated humanely, then I would go for the latter.

    Cheers

  • Why was a Cesarean required vs natural birth. Very mind opening video.

  • The cow and calf would have died, the calf has double muscle and was too big to be calved normally.

    Thank you

  • wow thats freaky how shes shoving her whole hand in there. I would love to see the anatomy behind that. OMG now both hands lol, alot of blood. Wow now the baby is out thats quite amazing.... but why the cesarean in the fist place>?

  • Hi thanks for the comment, the "Bull" calf was a pure British Blue pedigree, if you look at when he was nearly out the rump of the calf has double muscle even the vet went OOOH, both being a bull calf and having double muscle is what prevented the calf being born naturally, she was in labour for 16hours being constantly monitored and calf checked regularly. Both are doing very well.

  • I know it's a cow...but really? No gloves? That seems extremely unsanitary for cow and lady.

  • Hi what you don't see is the vet scrubbing down 3 times at the start and during the operation both of herself and her waterproofs with antibacterial scrub, the animal then underwent 5 days of injections with Pen & Strep to counteract any infection etc. Thank you for the comment

  • WTF??
