  • Thats Carl's son! from the movie Slingblade! "I reckon ill cook me some chicken fried steak and some of them french fried potaters uhh huhh"

  • lol creeepy guy..and whoever is holding the camera is breathing like darth vadar haha weird..

  • @hotmama2505 go fuck yourself.

  • @Archmetal06 Thats a very creative comeback there Billy Bob (travis) slingblade jr uhhhh huh... emmmm uh huh... such a non interesting guy and so FUCKING BORING... The lap top video was so lame and stupid the only question i had for you was how much kiddie porn does your creepy ass have on there? uhhhhh huh....

  • @hotmama2505 good. glad you found this boring. you only gave me another view and a waste of your time.

  • Speak up son

  • Great video, but do you kill people? Its ok if you don't, im just wondering

  • Anybody know what song that is he plays? I'm not usually into that sort of music, but that one is really soothing.

  • try it with a boneless porkchop

  • That looks good. I went to the store and bought cubed steak today. I'll follow this recipe and hope I do it right.

  • It still amazes me how people still don't know what chicken fried steak is. the confuse the chicken part with steak! "chicken fried" means with a batter mix. the "steak" part means well.. steak. everybody get it now.

Watching this makes me hungry for some. think I'll cook some up this week.

  • Hey mna no matter what all of these hatters say I liked it!!

  • @Finalfantasy999960 Good. I'm glad it sucked for you.

  • @Archmetal06 make sure you put it on youtube when you do haha

  • I made it and it was delicious. Thanks for the recipet! =)

  • I've never heard of potato flakes. Does it make the chicken fried steak crispy? That sounds really good. I'm gonna try it!

  • You scared me shitless... Nice recipe.

  • @nathanbrotherbob i'm glad i scared you.

  • nice vid bro !!

  • I learned a different coating method from your video. Thanks for sharing. You should post more often; you have an entertaining quality to you.

  • Your smile is a lovely as the recipe. Thank you very much.

  • I tried this tonight and it is great! I never thought to dip it in the flour and then the mixture! It makes a world of difference. I'll be using this method for fried chicken from now on too. Great video!!! thanks!!!!!! :)

  • thanks. I'm going to try the chicken fried steak tomorrow. I never knew there was a problem with calling it chicken fried steak lol. I'm friend california and that's what we called it there too. I enjoyed your video. I would have preferred if you would have shown us how to make the gravy. But, no worries I would rather make white gravy anyway. You act and look so shy. Perk up and have fun!! :)

  • First you acted loike you didn't want to touch the meat. and you need to speak up!

  • You should make chicken fried bacon!

  • i think i saw this guy in the movies... his voice sounds like the guy from the movie PSYCHO.. oh yeah. i tried your recipe.. it sucks..

  • @97ponce you "saw this guy in the movies" ?? sorry but that was not me. glad you liked the recipe though.

  • @Archmetal06 trollololol. You troll the shitt outta people in this video, god damn.. but woow, you're such a hillbilly!! ahaha.

  • @Shadowfury hill billy ? how so ? i know what i am. I know myself better than anyone else. Thanks for your ignorant non-relevant little comment.

  • @97ponce lol

  • @97ponce asshole

  • I think this was awesome! I'm absolutely gonna try the potato flake coating.

  • Chicken fried steak was a major mental hurdle for me when I first moved to Texas.Such an obsticle in fact that I never even tried ordering one till I went to a restraunt with a native texan, Its no biggie its a steak cooked like the Colnel does chicken and with white gravey its real good!!!

  • i used chicken then steak

  • Good recipe...Thanks!

  • Haha you talk like Billy Bob from Sling Blade. I don't get how this is chicken fried? There is no chicken at all. It's just battered and fried steak. Putting batter on something doesn't somehow turn it into chicken. Do you call onion rings chicken fried onions?

    French fried potaters mmmm hmmmm.

  • @markuscc well you obviously don't understand that in the south..... they call it "chicken fried steak" or "country fried steak" it's cause of the chicken fried method used to fry the steak. Go to any diner or restaurant and they will have it listed the same way.

  • You should make "chicken fried" bacon.

  • @Archmetal06 i thought it was the gravy that made them diff i know that CFS is served with white gravy and CF is served with brown gravy thats what i was told is that correct

  • @markuscc Yeah, that's what Chicken Fried Steak is.... breaded steak.

  • great! you're pretty adorable too :)

  • lmao dude your awesome. you got that southern monotone accent.

  • It's almost a sacrilige to serve chicken fried steak with any potato other than mashed (so you can ladle the gravy on the potatoes.) But I'm sure that if you set that plate before me, I'd wolf it down. First time I've seen potato flakes used as a breading.

  • I watched this video and literally thought I went back in time... D:

  • great tutorial. The music in the end really aroused me.

  • lol

  • you do know, as a cook, you're allowed to touch the food with your hands, right? As long as you clean them?

Using tongs not only looks and feels awkward, it's pointless.

  • it felt fine to me

  • i agree. use your hands!!! thats the best part of cooking meat!

  • @vassili1234 u betta be a chick.

  • @jonsatwalmart i guess you "betta" come to bedstuy brooklyn and find out. marcy and broadway homie.

  • oh man, everything taste good when it's fried. i would love some of that stuff!!

  • Hey man,

Two questions. First how much oil did you use in the frying pan and secondly, who did ya get for your camera crew?

  • about 3 oz of oil in the pan. and i had a friend filming.

  • lol i ask the same question....lol

  • I'm hungry now.

I wanna try and make some.
