There is no way that is easy. Mad props. The next person that says he's not an amazing musician should get up on a stage and do it better than the Boss. They would see it's impossible and keep their mouths shut. For one thing, they wouldn't be able to handle the physicality. For real, just quit talking junk unless you can do better.
how sad that bruce still believes in the "fairy-tale" that is religion. if i believed in santa-claus and the easter bunny, i'd be committed. religion fuckz everything up and down and sidewayz. sad when someone you thought had a brain is still as ignorant as all the religious fuckz that have committed more atricities than atheists ever have or will. bruce, brilliant-song, but u lost me at adam.
@glenneveaux seriously? you really condemn anything that has roots in the bible? cain kills his brother, abel. they are both sons of adam. the fact that you could actually turn this song into a religious debate is beyond amazing to me. the guy was raised catholic. its folklore--a story. he uses religious imagery to conjure up this song about a son and a father, because, whether one believes in it or not, religion has power. enough to get us both talking about it on youtube.
@patchmack2 yeah, seriously:) fact is that most "believers" of any "faith" don't believe that it's folklore, but fact. that's the fucking problem, einstein. they cannot delineate an allegory from fact. you are obviously on the "believer's" side of the fence. no problem. the bible also states that disobedient teenagers should be "stoned to death." do you believe in that? you can conveniently pick and choose what you choose to believe, but, just don't start any wars in the name of your "true" god
@glenneveaux maybe you're having trouble distinguishing allegory and fact if you bring up ridiculous biblical custom to denounce its entire worth. i'm not a very religious person, but that doesn't mean that an book that is still an extremely huge part of culture can't show any signs of relevance. i think it's pretty ingenious of bruce to create such a poignant song out of a very iconic and symbolic story. i understand the frustration in religion, but no need to condemn the literature of it.
IMMENSO.
