  • Thank you so much, I was really wondering how to do this correctly!!

  • @jdubucsd2 Cool! Glad we could help :) - Kat

  • What about a video Like this, with the GS/3? regards Henrik

  • @Palshoej I'll put it on the to-do list! - Kat

  • Another useful video!

  • Thanks for the video. This stuff really helps a new guy out. I just picked up a used Expobar Office Pulser and it has a E-61 type brewhead, so this should be the same for me. Keep up the great work.

  • @pdxDavid Cool! Please let me know what you think of this machine -- we can't get access to them so don't know how they compare to other E61's on the market. - Kat

  • Nicely explained, helps a lot of people I recon! If the gasket is really stuck you can also put a blindfilter in the portafilterhandle and begin to do a backflush, with the preassure still on you try to loosen the portafilterhandle. This will make the group head pop right out!

  • Thank you Seattle coffe gear ! Your videos are very usefull

    I really like them ! P.S.: What is a panarello wand ?

  • @spyrmak You're welcome :D You can read all about panarello wands on our Brown Bean Blog - I just posted an explanation there. - Kat

  • thats great i see the screw in my machine but this is deffrent thanks kat

  • @robotmotor Did you see the Rancilio one we did? It will show you how to pop that brew head off, too. - Kat

  • @SeattleCoffeeGear i wil see it thanks for you and gail :))))

  • how often should i do this? consider i make 10-12 coffees a day, on average (but I don't backflush so regularly. Shame on me!)

  • @Jabbawack Hmmm - well, if you're not backflushing regularly, you should! It will address the valve system and keep your machine in good shape -- especially with the quantities you're making. I'd probably take this sucker apart every 4 - 6 weeks if you backflush regularly. But play it by ear and see how it looks at 4 weeks or 6 weeks and then go from there. - Kat
