I bought a mini-french horn ( Bb) and I realized that its sound is completely different from the French Horn in F/Bb. I have some difficults to obtain the note C# lower. How can I get to obtain this note?

For example:

note C: 0-0-0

note D: 1-2-3 ( double french horn : 1-0-2 (lower) and 1-0-0 (high)

note D#: 0-2-3

note E: 1-2-0

note F: 1-0-0

ETC...

Cool but you play the exact same thing on a regular trumpet.

It's not actually a "piccolo" French Horn, but a Pocket or Mini French Horn. The difference is A true piccolo French Horn would be an octave above the standard F/Eb Horn, this Pocket French Horn is exactly the same octave as the normal F Horn. (sorry for being a troll). It is quite cute, i have one myself and every time anyone else sees it they put the biggest "awwww" face.

@MeijinKino It can't be just exactly the same as the F horn. I've seen pocket trumpets and know how that all works - the same tubes just crammed more densely together. But this seems just way too small, much smaller to the horn than the pocket trumpet is to a trumpet. And the horn is more tightly packed than the trumpet to begin with. I know it's the same mouthpiece etc. but the tubes must be shorter!
