Can anyone help me i bought bioshock from the apple store and when i was going to install the 1.0.1 update for the game straight from the publisher i got the "engine.u file missing" message.

Could someone possibly help me? I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro, so it has the i5 processor, 4GB of Ram,Intel HD graphics 3000 and running OS X Lion. I downloaded a Bioshock.dmg with a 1.0.1 crack update. However, when I'm at the main menu or the pause menu, I don't have a mouse cursor. I haven't really started the game since this issue kind of irritates me, could somebody tell me if I didn't meet any of the requirements?

Hi portingteamdotcom, I might need some help I know I'm not the only one who has got that sort of issue, my mac bookpro says when I want to play bioshock, missing the "Engine.u" File, also I keep on trying to update to the 1.0.1 version but each time I choose a folder to save it its tell me that an error has occuried.

Disculpa como lo instaste, esqe baje un torrent, con un icono de bioshock de 63 mb y 4 dmg, 2 son crack no DVD y otro es DLDVD de 7.26 GB esque ya di muchas vueltas y al instalarlo me dice que necesito meterle el DVD para jugarlo gracias

1. BioShock Mac DLDVD double-click. Drag and drop carpeta Bioshock y tb están los readme.

2. Instale el Bioshock.1.0.1.Update.

3. Instale el BioShock.1.0.1.NoDVD.Crack.dmg

Simple, pensaba que era BIOSHOCK 2 porque ese instale en windows, que bueno q no era el mismo y que bueno que sea nativo, el cambio de idioma viene listo, en windows hay que renombrar los Bio2_DX! y activar los subtitulos, yo lo juego en inglés con los subtitulos!

you cant there are no direct downloads out there for the demo besides as you might know u turret is basically illegal if you download pirated games, the government or what even you want to call it has been trying to get it band saying it was made for pirating software so if it happens and you have it on your computer you could go to jail.

tried the demo using my Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M macbook on high. works fine with some drops of FPS but still very playable and works better that I thought it will.

Window mode sucks

The reason almost all of the games on the portingteam channel are shown running in windowed mode is because we want to show that the games are, in fact, running on a mac and are not just a screen capture of the game running on windows cut with an app with the game name launching on a mac. All the games demoed on our channel are set to run in fullscreen mode by default. We just set the games to run in windowed to prevent Windows fanboys from calling BS on our vids.
