America is being "purchased" by those who are supposed to represent us. We are observing our nation becoming a socialist society. Interesting the perfect timing for the idiot king-to-be to step in and lead us forward to "CHANGE". Someone pass me the barf bag.
Both Bush and Obama have talked at various times about the need for personal responsibility for individuals. Now we are told that some corporate entities are too large to fail and time is of the essence. Well I guess theyre taking a page from George Orwells Animal Farm and Squealer would be proud: All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. Our Government is literally giving away our money faster than they can print it to these more equal animals. How sad for us all.
Obama calls it "change","Hope","Yes We Can", and he can fool enough people to get elected. He ran the best MARKETING campaign and won.
You voted for it ? You got it !
Intelligent people in-the-know, do not have any illusions about it. Washington continues to be corporate occupied territory. The rulling elite keeps the status quo and continues to enrich themselves at your (taxpayer's) expense.
The signs are amassing that Obama put a political con job over on the American people. With Robert Rubin on his side during his first photo opportunity after the election, he signaled to Wall Street that his vote for the $750 billion bailout of those speculators and crooks was no fluke (Rubin was Clintons financial deregulation architect in 1999 as Secretary of the Treasury before he became one of the hugely paid co-directors tanking Citigroup!)
These Wall Street righties have always talked mounds of shit about free market and survival of the fittest. But now look at them squealing like helpless baby birds. I would like to see a movement of principled high ranking execs come forward and say "stop this madness of borrowing from Peter to pay Leviathan. We accept our defeat with the same heraldry with which we proclaimed our victories". But rather than being true principled conservatives they've proven to be greedy opportunist cowards.
The Wall State righties are Trotskyist welfare statists just like neo-cons are. Jackasses in elephant attire. What we are seeing has nothing to do with true free market principles. It is a failure of socialism: The centrally planned welfare state.
They already got 25 Billion just a few weeks ago. Plus they didn't even try to help the economy with it they tried to help themselves and that clearly didn't work.
This little deal is going to cost way more than 20 Billion Dollars.
Boycott the evil empire.

I think it is funny that the government just transfered all of their government charge cards from B of A to CITI Communists

They flash a 700 billion $ figure in front of the American people's noses and then spend 7.7 trillion and still counting.
Americans have spent more than double what the
banks were worth when they were healthy.

Insane: doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Perfectly demonstrated right here.
