TRD Doesn't make a catback exhaust for the tC, it's only an axleback.. So obviously there is a power difference (catback>axelback) and a much deeper and more powerful sound.

I sold this car several months ago and have had many cars & projects since this video was taken.

@darkness1544 I would never use TRD for performance parts with the exception of the S/C. It's a rip off and doesn't add power, just sound. You can get parts that are just as good/better for a lower cost than TRD and they won't directly affect your vehicle's warranty (unless it specifically causes a problem).

@wumadce No I actually never did get around to it as I was worried about all the rasp I have heard from others running them. I rarely go on CStC anymore :-/ I have moved on to other cars and other forums

hey did you ever get the header? i plan to get this exhaust system with the injen short ram intake... and ive been contemplating on getting a header to complete the airflow process...

its just that it RUINS the sound a lot of times.. i dont need the best sounding tC but i cant stand bad raspy exhausts... i refuse to be THAT guy!

I have never been pulled over for the exhaust. In Arizona there aren't many mods rules. But I have Never heard of a law against angled exhausts specifically in any state. What is the reasoning behind it? And where are you from?

@Beckaz08tC oh i live in california and many people get pulled over i guess there is no law against it but cops are mean these days (noise complaints)

Oh yes in California there are several laws and rules against aftermarket and performance parts. But not sure that it is particularly because the exhaust is angled.. The part has to be CA approved and street legal which most parts are not. When buying an exhaust or many other parts there will be a disclaimer that says 'this is only intended for off road use" or something similar to that. Meaning in CA and some other states, you will get fined for having it.

You get what you pay for. No, I would not say it is kinda high. My personal opinion is never go cheap, if you are going to do it, you might as well do it right.

Why is the Agency better than the Megan Drift Spec? Well from my experience, the Drift Spec sounds good but is not as deep or nice of a tone and is raspy.

how long did it take for your muffler to break in for the pure sound..did you noticed a sound difference from when it was put on too now

As far as I can remember the sound has not changed from when I initially put it on till now. Should be an immediate change when you install the exhaust.

Yeah, the Invidia or the Megan downpipe / s-pipe are known to be really good. I would probably go with Invidia. Good price and good quality.

so you have the agency exhaust, with what kinda of CAI? you also said you had a resonator already welded on. Was it on when you took this vid? if so what kind?

The sound of it is perfect and just as deep as I wanted it.

Th resonator comes already welded onto this exhaust system. I have an HPS CAI. But it really doesn't matter what kind you have, they all basically sound the same and do the same job.

Well that's what a resonator is for! A resonator get's rid of the rasp. And I already have one welded on, so no there won't be rasp.
