you are playing on low speed. Go options --> gameplay tab --> and look for gameplay speed. Its clearly slow atm.

i played this yesterday at a friend for the first time

played against like 8 people

all they do is quickly build 10 marines or something or just 10 weak soldiers and attack u in the 4th minute and destroy you and even if u survive ur allready too dmged too defend urself against a future wave

its really really lame to be honest

i won 1 time by using the same strategy but it isnt even fun :(

I haven't played Starcraft II but from my memory of the original game, it payed to be more agressive.

Sending out SCVs to spy on your opponent, harrassing your opponent with early attacks on easy targets and using terrain to your advantage was the way to go.
