Didn't Chariman Kaga use to say the secret ingredients in english? I barely remember him doing so but every time I check a video here on youtube the Chairman always says them in Japanese.

Did I just remember things wrong or did they change it at some point?

I remember Kaga annouced the secret ingredient, "Lettuce" in the Battle Lettuce in perfect english, it was cute

@bandontherun74 nah its was almost always japanese, but sometime he would use a common name besides its japanese name. Unless ur referring to wen they used to dub his voice in that part(which i dint like lol)

@bandontherun74 The Japanese language borrows very liberally from other languages, especially English. So it is not uncommon for foreign terms to be used. For example, the most commonly used word for 'bread' is 'pan', deriving from the original Portuguese 'pão'. It's not much different from when we use 'pizza', for example.

@Nocturnalux i think bandon was thinking about the dubbed vs. subbed versions of the show....but im not sure haha. I was thinking that id he'd seen enough eps of ICJ, that he'd know some ingredient names are borrowed from english/chinese/french names. So i thought maybe he was used to watching a network on tv where they dubbed that part...xD
