@EarthwormJim55 This game was very broken xD. Tekken and Street Fighter are "Perfect" games compared to this. This is entertaining to an extent, but if you get good with any character, especially Lilica, you can pull off combos that can kill a little over half of your health.

Arcana Heart 3, coming to the JP PS3 next year. Fingers crossed for a US version, if not...guess I'll have to import. Doesn't matter. One way or another, the game will be mine! Arcana Heart, one of the only mainstream all girl fighting games that isn't a doujin, not that the doujin fighters are bad, just that this is the only one that is the most recognized outside the internet when it comes to these kinds of fighting games. I wonder why this game isn't more popular. Personally I love the original gameplay, even if the whole arcana-thing seems to be a copy of Pokemon somewhat. When I heard it was an all-female fighting game, I just had to buy it. I never seen anything like that done before.

Of course, I'm terrible at the game. Still practicing but my button mashing isn't so good and I just can't do some of the more complicated moves. Still, I do love this game. I just don't know which character is my favorite. =/

Ive been playing BlazBlue for quite some time and after finally finding out this is another 2D fighter, I just needed to check it out. It looks pretty fun and it's 2D. Best part is, it's also an anime fighter of sorts. Love games like that.

That is a tough one, I usually use heart. Anyone can work really, so long as you figure out what you're gonna do after the trip.

Tripping her is an excellent way to do so. I usually trip her then go into a brief combo. It really depends on who you use, since some characters slide. But it at least evens the odds.

You're right on both fronts. There's actually little in the way of fanservice. I wouldn't really call it shallow or deep. But if you mean gameplay.... I must say this has one of the best combo systems in a fighting game that I have experianced.

Because this is like the first game with an all female cast? Arcana Hearts is simply taking suite to all the other female fighter games, this is just the current fad, they were others before this.

I looked at actual combat scenes and I think I can forgive the game I guess... it just distracts me when the game is trying to entertain me and give me a hard-on at the same time. Not that I do get a hard- on (thank god!) but it does make me feel a tad uncomfortable, meaning the game knows what it's doing a tad too much. But then again I'm just one Otaku, there's surely others who are immune. This embarassed feeling while watching an animation just doesn't happen to me that often.

There are other games of this type I love, Melty Blood being one of them. The fan-service here is just so blatant here it makes me feel embarassed. People stop me all the time if I'm playing Princess Maker of something saying "is that hentai?". Like COME ON! But seriously I might just get this game anyway, the combat looks good

If you do, well learning the individual character moves is no different than any other fighter, but learning the dash system, cancelation, and equiping the god gods has a somewhat large learning curve. It'll be a while till you actually learn how to use the dash system without blatently flying around just to give your opponent a free hit. Every character has their own God card move set, but you can equip them with any god card, so thats where the real strategy kicks in.
