  • Wahhh I say stop beating on your damn car then.. Have an 08 Si haven't had an issue at all.. Buyers regret apparently.

  • @soyntgo4it it's only for 06 and 07 model's i myself have an 07 and yes 3rd gear does pop out but once you drive the car you can understand the problem and once it pops out you would have to double clutch the rev match for in to go straight back into the gear with no grind.

  • my si has a problem shifting into sometimes..it doesnt pop out but it makes me grind sometimes..i told honda about it and they say its fine..till today it still has problems shifting into gear..this is my last yr of warranty...i think i might just blow out the tranny to get it fix huh>? what u think?

  • Lol at the end it says a name the. Fucks six news ^_^

  • first off, this guy on the news is a goof,

it was a small mistake, honda civic 06 and up are not horrible cars

    my honda is awesome

BUT i do have similar problem

thats why if honda wont fix their problem sue them!

  • just slam it into 3rd gear and it will go mine does it too but you will get used to it

  • I just bought an 08 Civic Si...hope I don't have this problem.

  • My si have grinds on 3rd and 4th gears. sometimes pop out on third too. f u c k honda

  • @15152020koj when you put it on 3rd just hold the shifter there then as soon as you hit 3k rpm shift to 4th right away. i even do cluthless shifting and it works fine but sometimes it's really hard to put on 3rd but you will get used to it

  • 0:45-0:50 thats not even a civic si

  • did they recall all the cars?

  • yeah k20's are so fucking weird.

  • nvr ever hav chrome rims on a fukin honda thts jus im not even guna say it

  • @Dmart73ify how do you buy the new ones, and how much does it cost?

will it not have the problem after?

i want to buy the car but im afraid of the problem i was thinking 06 -07

  • u kids need to learn how to driveee

  • @guraj84 He's not even driving the car retard.

  • it does it to me every once in a while. proly about once every hundred miles

  • if you just hold the shifter it'll kepp the linkage pulled back which would keep 3rd gear engaged whether it wants to or not. a car is still a machine controlled by a person. if you hold the shifter forward you'd be ok

  • @MattH12491 why would u wana hold the shifter forward after u pay $20,000 dollars for a new car???

  • thats a good point bro im just sayin its an easy solution if you dont feel like taking it in....

  • @MattH12491 you shouldnt have to hold it forward, you should be able to shift and drive not have to worry bout holding it.

  • @xMyazXtr3me youre exactly right bro but some people need a temp solution. ive actually never seen anyone have this prob until i saw this vid.

  • huh... i have 102,000 miles on my '07 si and i haven't had a single problem with 3rd gear... just 2nd gear being stubborn in the cold.

  • For the record....I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS GETTING MY 08 SI INTO THIRD.

  • I have this problem with my 06 Si but it seems to go away once its warmed up.. somtimes.. I gotten use to it.. idk seems to me if you racing it will let you go into third half way so you can drop it in to forth faster, just have to hold it.. Idk.. dosnt bother me anymore..

  • i had the same problem with my 07 si but it was under warrantie still so they fixed it now everything is working good.

  • damn just brought my 08 civic si sedan in for repair making grinding noise 1st through 3rd gear also sliping and making noise in neutral. and my vin number is From VIN 2HGFA555.8H700001

    thru 2HGFA555.8H702465..

  • guess my padre and i lucked out. The 06 we have is going well.

  • FOXNEWS

  • its not the SI either i have a DX model and having the same problem to.!!

  • i noticed this problem early, i called honda about it and they told me it was my fault (driver error) so i ignored the problem until now. after reading several articles i realized im not the only one experiencing this problem, it turned out to be a manufacturer defect after all, and not me. i will be contacting honda this week about this

  • damn, and here i thought that honda made some of the most reliable cars in the world lol that sucks....

  • did u step on the clutch?HAHAHA

  • is this the problem with 2008 models ?
