1. The creators (McCorkle and Scholey) expressed desires to move on - - they weren't "fired" from Disney as much as leaving on their own will. (Season 4 was actually the first season where the pair didn't write any KP episodes, possibly signalizing a change of interests.)
2. The final episode wrapped things up so well, and seemed so finalized, that it would have been hard to top it with yet another finale. (This was, after all, KP's second finale.)

I support the fight for 5 100%! Kim is amazing plus she's pretty. Not to mention a perfect role model for kids. I'm 18 and still love the show! I even stay up until 2 a.m just to see her. I wanna see her college years with Ron too!
Ditto! I may only be 13, but I get mocked every day by a twerp in my class, so I guess that could prove my support towards her. I want to know which college Kim actual goes to! It'd be awesome if Ron came knocking on her door with a surprise of that he's staying there too ^_^ Also, villains, love was in the air during the ceremony, we all know what adorable couple needs some more cute scenes!
