  • best part of the ad is when they show the blue shirt hanging by the ropes, the wnid blowing across it and written on it "ETIHAD" :D

  • Just a shame we're getting fucking priced out the game

  • Which stadium is it that has that 'mind your language' poster in the tunnel?

  • @talk2malawyer

    I'm pretty sure it's WHL.

  • "Like a polyester bacon of hope" LOL

    I love football adverts ...

  • that's why, even if i'm italian, on april 23rd i'll be in manchester to watch United-Everton (is the only reason)...GOD BLESS ENGLISH FOOTBALL

  • try to imagine life without football...you can't

  • fuck ESPN

  • where can i download the song in this advert (the background song, not including the pledge)

  • Boring

  • shit advert. typical middle class shit. your average bloke is downing pints b4 the game on the blower sorting out grams of coke and looking for a tear up after the game.

  • i love the premier league and most of all tottenham!!!!!!!!

  • lmfao, forceing my views on my kid, liek my father before me! soo true

  • @tourzaman yup..it is

  • This adverts a joke, makes out the people who don't go the games and watch the match on espn are die hards when they should be out there on a saturday getting behind there local team

  • @forevertranmere not everyone can afford to go every week and some people live in other countries. What about midweek and sunday fixtures?

  • @wingnut208 Exactly ! some people live in other bloody counties. They arn't even from this country and they are supporting teams in the UK. This advert makes out like it is a good thing to do. Sky has created a generation of plastic supporters, kids want to be footballers for the fame and the money, Lower league clubs are stuggling just to stay as clubs, because of channels and adverts like this promoting armchair support.

  • @forevertranmere whats wrong with people outside the UK being a fan of an english team? I live in america and I have been a United fan since I was little. My grandparents on my moms side came to america from england right after they had my mom. They brought their love for United with them and passed it to me. there is no way I can afford to see their matches in person, but I watch them all online. Does this make me less of a fan? I don't think so.

  • @clamb1915 Obvcourse it makes you less of a fan. Are you saying your as good of a fan as somebody from Manchester who goes every home and away game ? And another reason why it's bad, you wont know anything about this but there are dozens of clubs folding as they cant afford to keep running there clubs, more and more people arnt going to watch there local football teams as there is a premier league side on the television.

  • @forevertranmere I get your argument but it is a very elitist opinion if you ask me. In america, if you like the team, and you root for them, you are a fan. You do not need to shell out thousands of dollars a year to go to games. I know the glazers are in debt a lot and so are other owners but that is their fault. Not the fault of the fan. They spend too much money buying top quality players. Also the league gets money from a TV deal, so they are not losing much from fans watching on the tv.

  • @clamb1915 I'm not on about Premier League teams. They get billions from tv deals, merchandise. I'm on about lower league clubs, lower league clubs get absolutley nothing from TV revenue and the majority of local people are brainwashed by adverts like this into thinking if they watch a big team on the tv they are a true fan. Obviousley the definition of fan in America is completlety different to the definition of a fan that actually goes to games in England

  • @forevertranmere I am a sunderland fan and you a tranmere fan and i will follow sunderland to what ever division they drop to! Every team in the premiership were down in lower leagues before but we fought our way out and we at the top now and who says ye cant do the same???? just get up off your arses and stop taking this out on teams that have proved themselves over the years! anyone can make it!!!!!

  • @ogormanr I'm not having a go at the teams that make it, i'm even glad for some of the teams that make it. I remember Tranmere playing Blackpool only a few years ago. What i am having a go at is this advert making out that people who don't go are good fans. I have nothing against anyone that goes to watch there team but this advert imo is just wrong

  • @ogormanr Sunderland could eat a dick

  • I love Hungary Soproni League

  • i like the "mind your language" sign...hahaha....so british

  • It's "beacon of hope" by the way

  • Cmon man u

  • Good Advert , It On Very Match On Our New Screen,

    Super Super Burnley

  • SKY>ESPN

  • For now, give ESPN credit though, they know how to advertise.

ESPN is only ankle deep in the sport, if they dedicate as much financial girth as they do behind the NFL, ESPN could surpass Sky.

Also Sky and ESPN are working together, so perhaps coverage will be amazing in the future

  • What's the stadium with 'Mind your language' poster?
