  • I bet at least half of those 50 people had some sort of iDevice.

  • Hahhahaha dumm guys fuck uself protests

  • Idiot protesters i hate them. Apple create the BEST IPOD BEST PHONE AND BEST COMPUTER..idiot guys

  • Lol these people are dumb assess

  • The funny thing is that a report was just released saying that Apple is one of the few companies that pay their fair share of taxes.

  • @vistarox Hahaha! Exactly! Fucking idiots:

    ,,Let's PROTEST!"

    ,,Against what?"

,,I don't know .. something we don't know shit about .. you know .. like everyone else does!"

    ,,YAY!"

    xD

  • I would chuck them out

  • I like how everyone is just ignoring him.

  • This is so awesome!

  • What has the world come to??

  • . . . you fucking neck-bearded rednecks......GO BACK TO YOU'RE FUCKING SWAMP! WHERE I ASSUME YOU'RE ON WELL-FAIR!

  • @hadorianandfriends do you mean welfare? Because I'm not sure what well-fair is.

  • @MilkmanNorm if you get what i mean they're no need to be a grammer-nazi

  • we should all go in their with android tablets, android phones, android hats, and android etc. and they wouldn't be able to do anything :)

  • Cant the mall cops arrest them?

Cant the mall cops use force on them if they dont listen?

  • @superlucci umm..noo..freedom of speech and the right to protest? remember?

  • Boy....these unions really know how to win public support. ha..ha..ha..ha.. NOT just look at these idiots chanting senselessly........too bad their not at work

O' yea I forgot the union leaders ran bussiness out of that state years ago.

  • Apple gets tax breaks for giving THOUSANDS of dollars in technology to schools every year. THOUSANDS.

So they're protesting because apple is getting tax breaks? Apple is giving their children a good technological education.

  • @ReviewShark Greedy people are not aware. Their entire existence is based on needing to blame someone else for what they do not do. It is pathetic.

  • @ladylordess yeah!

  • Foxconn owned by Apple. I'm just glad Apple has these manufacturing companies in China and not here.

  • fuck the protestors i would kick their asses outta da store

  • @VinnyAppz correct, and progressive neocomms (neo-communists) are extremely narcissistic. They have to always be on display begging for attention. It's all emotions with the absense of facts, reasoning or logic with these people.

  • liberalism is a menal disorder...most of these clowns don't even realize who pays the corporate taxes. Hint, hint, liberals, it's not the people you think...learn a thing or two about business before you make an ass out of yourselves.

  • Just another communist organization wanting to seize all the money they can because they can't generate money on their own. They also have the mob mentality and will do something in a mob that they would never do by themselves.

  • What's so amusing is that apple is one of the most "progressive" companies out there, concerned about the environment, global warming, and all the other left wing talking points. However, they've still committed the cardinal sin in the minds of the loony toons ... they are a successful business.

  • 'd be interested in knowing the tax paying status of these protesters.

Given the fact that almost half of Americans pay no income taxes combined with the professional bum appearance of these protesters it's likely a safe bet that none of these protesters pay any taxes.

Of course, as good little liberals they are much more interested in commenting on and directing the behavior of others rather than their own.

  • LOL I love how his solution for fixing debt is to force someone who is successful to pay for everyone else s mistakes.

  • @hyetalian1 It's not that they should pay for everyone else's mistakes, it's just that they should pay the same taxes as everyone else. This isn't an issue of whether the tax rate is right or wrong, it's an issue of Apple deciding it isn't bound by the same rules as other companies.

  • Is Apple paying taxes? Is GE paying taxes? Is GM paying taxes?

How many have not realized that Obama is a failure?

  • Hang on....These idiots are conducting an illegal demonstration. Any store in a mall, street, etc...it's private property with public access. ANYONE can have their access yanked with just cause, and they can be arrested if they do not leave the store after just one warning.

Just cause here is simple. Entering a store with the clear intention of disrupting their store. Arrest them, and make an example of them. And screw the ACLU if they try and back up these clowns and freaks.

  • buy more apple products!!!

  • Typical for Madison... rich kids out of touch with reality, willing to kill their own countrymen if it supports whatever stupid thing the Liberal elite have decided today. Unions, Palestinian terrorists, communism, etc.

  • What a bunch of nuts! Oh, wait! Don't stop the protesters; stop the photographer! Way to go you idiot police/security/toy pistol people!

  • Corporations do not pay taxes, it does not matter if the rate is 100%, the price paid by a corporation is always passed onto the consumer as an offset of expenses, I'm sorry but only a really stupid moron could imagine a different scenario, get it? I don't understand why the protesters don't just round up as many poor people they can find and have them go to the store and ask them to raise the price that they will pay, because that's exactly what they are doing now anyway.

  • @brokentrader This was an awesome event! Apple makes many millions of dollars profit in the USA, and funnels the money through "tax havens" — otherwise known as fraudulent accounts in other countries — so they can avoid paying their fair share of taxes. But all that's okay because you might have to pay more for a shitty Iphone.

  • My state capitol is now the People's Republic of Madtown. Idiots.

  • This was an awesome event! Apple makes many millions of dollars profit in the USA, and funnels the money through "tax havens" — otherwise known as fraudulent accounts in other countries — so they can avoid paying their fair share of taxes. Meanwhile the US government looks the other way while holding out their hands for more bribes from the perpetrators and extorting the treasury shortfall from the rest of us! Anyone who defends that is either a corporatist dupe, or an outright lying troll.

  • @GuinnevereB

Your a total koolaid drinking idiot.

  • @GuinnevereB Are you truly that stupid?

  • Tax havens cost US taxpayers tens of BILLIONS every year! The effective corporate tax rate is far lower than the official tax rate of 35% (sometimes 0% or lower)! These companies have whole departments full of lawyers and accountants to minimize their tax debt. They stash money off shore, while shipping our jobs off shore. If lowering corporate tax rates created jobs, we should be up to our ears in JOBS!

    PEOPLE before PROFITS! GO, WISCONSIN!

  • @miuncut1

    Yet another idiot.

  • Way to go Apple!

If all corporations dodged such a large % of the taxes they owed the US would be running a HUGE budget surplus. That's how it works right?

    1. Cut taxes on highly profitable businesses and the wealthy

    2. ?????

    3. Budget surplus!

  • Apple is one of many corporations who are hiding money overseas so they don't have to pay taxes. These demonstrators did an excellent job targeting Apple in a way that people who love Apple products (as I do) can be aware that while individuals and small businesses across America are paying to support our society as a whole, big corporations are not. This happens because they use millions lobbying congress for laws that are unfair to working people and to small business.

  • as a participant, I believe that actions of this kind are abrasive for good reason. This demo was held at West Towne Mall, about 7 miles away from the Capitol. People who are not in contact with the Capital Square events and rallies are allowed to safely ignore what's happening. These people need to choose what side they're on. Are they for the loss of 900 billion dollars in revenue, while the government cuts program after program? Is this a spending problem, or a revenue problem?

  • so seeing how you are for the right than where are all the good jobs that the republicans promised, oh thats right they are to busy destoring this country. if these coropate tax cheates whould pay there taxes this country whould not be in the mess that it is in, instead the republicans are more worried about giving more tax breaks to the rich and taking more away from the poor but yet talking about christan vaules, but yet jesus whould help the poor and not tell others what to think

  • well this will really alienate the base! sweet. F the left!

  • You just have to love how the entire city of Madison has now turned into a circus.

  • Morons

  • Nearly 50% of American households pay zero in federal taxes after refunds, some even getting back more than they paid in. Betcha a dollar to donut these idiots fall into that category.

Unless Apple committed tax fraud, more power to them in utilizing any deductions they're allowed to.

And when will these morons ambush the many Democrat tax cheat politicians?

  • Morons, that is what these people are. If I was there I would of got in the face of those that suck off the United States. They are not Americans they are those who want everyone else to take care of them.

  • a self sustainable state would create jobs, but that doesnt sound like a good enough leap to take.

  • Apple creates jobs. How many jobs do the protestors create?

  • @ladylordess Jobs for the Chinese, who make most if not all of their products..

  • @unrealjeff 1. that would be more jobs than the protestors create. 2. Cupertino, CA is the headquarters, not China. GM's best selling auto has it's highest sales in China, made in China. Don't you love that we funded that mess as well??!!

  • @ladylordess Very good point. Most protestors are professional bums. That said, I disapprove of Apple using slave labor to build their overpriced products. So, my form of protest is to boycott their products. If everyone did it, that would end the problem. But of course, that wouldn't be fun enough for some people, who need some drama to give purpose to their pointless lives.

  • @Eszpresszo Yes, you do not have to purchase Apple products, and you can also make sure that you are not profiting from Apple, via a retirement account or other fund. I strongly believe in the free market, so yes, I do agree with your choice of letting your dollars do the talking!!! Although, today I received an ipad as a unexpected surprise gift, and damn it is a cool little thing.

  • @ladylordess haha, such a true statement, but any job created in a free market is considered slave labor to these clowns. the only savior to them is government. Either way, I'd assume the majority of these protesters are unemployed and collecting some government paycheck. If they have time to look like clowns during the middle of the day, then they have time to fill out some job applications at Apple.

  • @tonyg0123 True, the only problem is that the protestors have the time to fill out the application for a job, but are probably unable to read, write or have a history of even being capable of holding a job, so they have zero job experience. lol

  • @tonyg0123 HAHA yes it is only crazy jobless socialist hippie who want corporation to be taxes,

(you stupid fuck) Can I ask what you gain from corporation not paying taxes? IS IT ALL THE JOBS THEY CREATED? I mean just look at the bush era there's the proof of low or NO taxes NOT creating jobs.

  • @pandasftuw hey stupid fuck...when corprations are taxed, do you realize who pays the taxes??? No you don't, because you have no concept of business...another liberal talking head retard brought up on pure emotion without reason, logic.......... taxfoundation(dot)org/blog/show/1467.html .............Low or no taxes duing the Bush era??? WTF are you talking about? You think Bush was a fee market capitalist? jeffjacoby(dot)com/602/the-great-bush-deregulation-myth. try again

  • @pandasftuw let me guess, you were one of these clowns acting like a fool in this store? Which left wing radio host made you look like a clown because you thought you were doing good for the country by attacking all the "evil" corporations? Do you realize that's it's your government that is creating these corporations/monopolies by all the things you espouse? All you are doing is building up the same people you demonize because you continue to vote down a capitalistic system.

  • @tonyg0123 Actually nope I'm british. Yes I do realize that the government and corporations are related in a BAD way. Corporations should pay fair taxes. How is asking for a fair taxation voting down capitalism,

its funny how capitalism to you means giving the rich more money and letting the middle class diminish.

I just so hope you are in that top 1% that benifits from this because if not you are really fucking yourself over

  • @pandasftuw you're British, you arn't paying into the American tax system. That whole 1% benefits from a tax cut is a load of garbage if you understand how the monetary system works in the U.S. and the flow of capital. Have you read the article I sent you on "who pays the corporate taxes" yet?

  • @ladylordess Yes they create jobs OVERSEAS even if they did create jobs in the US they should still pay taxes just as most big corps should. You are aware the economy is shit right now and the taxes are the lowest they have been in 50's, THIS IS RELATED

  • @pandasftuw And that apple store is OVERSEAS?? No! UNIONS and government force us overseas with their interference. There is no greater a current example than that of BOEING.

The economy IS in the crapper and won't even begin to recover until we lower the corporate tax rates. You are aware that corporate tax rates are currently the 2nd highest IN THE WORLD!!! Look it up!!!

  • @ladylordess That equation doesn't even make sense, but seeing the 12 thumbs up you have it really shines a light on the intelligence of those who fight for the richest 1% and large corporation (even though they probably live in pig shit themselves) to continue untaxed. you are saying the protestors don't create jobs: well protesting is not a business so DUH, but apple mostly creates jobs overseas, I mean just look at the bush era there's the proof of low or NO taxes NOT creating jobs.

  • @ladylordess So their point is invalid because a group of about 8 people don't create tons of jobs

that equations has no logic in it what so ever. And I think you'll find unemployment to be quite high, evidently corporations not paying taxes has not been creating jobs.

apple has income, so it is income tax.

Now if a corporation operates non profit then they would have no income and no tax,

That is the way it is suppose to be, their records show they had no profit, its a lie.

  • @pandasftuw Do you mean the way that Media Matters doesn't pay taxes? Or how about the way that 51% of Americans under Obama vs the 41% under Bush that do not pay taxes? Our Government is forcing corporations to operate overseas! Apple creates jobs. The Americans that love to complain OWN Apple products. The US has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Hopefully the government will lower taxes!!! I don't mean for companies like GM who receive bailout and then hire in china and mexico.

  • @ladylordess Why would you want them to lower taxes further it has already been PROVEN that no taxes does not equal JOB CREATION, may ask what you are benifiting from corporations not paying taxes because if you are not in that 1% you really are just a stupid jackass.

Media matters is no for profit so yes, and yes the 51% should be paying taxes. The corporation are sourcing jobs oversea because it is cheaper, how are the government FORCING them? but they don't PAY them due to loopholes

  • @pandasftuw It has already been proven historically that lower taxes do create jobs, and it has already been proven in an order of magnitude that raising taxes and union/government overreaching has chased jobs/corportions off of our shores. I did no suggest NO tax, nor the government playing favorites with subsides! I am suggesting a reasonable corp rate that is not the 2nd highest in the world.

Media Matters IS NOT a non-profit corp. Look it up and stop spreading falsehoods.

  • @ladylordess historically proven (but ignoring the last 20 years and 10 years prior of clinton when taxes were higher and jobs were being created) sure if you have selective memory it is historically proven ;]

and I don't give a fuck if media matters if for profit they should be taxed, you think I'm going to say otherwise because there a liberal company, what point are you trying to make?

  • @pandasftuw Look who is talking selective memory! Under clinton we had commercialization of the internet, and he was working with Rs. Obama can't make it work. Time to do what we already KNOW works. If U do not want to coax companies back, I can only assume it is because you think Obama will save us. Boeing tries 2 create jobs UNION jobs at that, yet the unions want MORE! So much more that their actions may very well push Boeing to leave our country! There is no greater current example than this

  • @ladylordess Other than the example of the past 20 years of no taxes for the rich or the corporations NOT creating jobs. And let me get this straight the corporations are going aboard not to get cheaper workers but because of the evil unions, wow I repeat this again I really hope you are in this 1% you are fighting because if not you even more foolish than you seem, why do you hate the middle class?

  • @pandasftuw U want to sit back and talk about us wealthy evil business people, yet U want us to spend money; show us some certainty of our future. U saw the uptick in December, due to the extension, not due to an increase of taxes! If this economy is going to recover it will be by us, the "evil business people", as it is not going to recover from the people in the beltway or their ideologue supporters or their class warfare. The rules and the regulations haven't even been put through yet,

  • @ladylordess I have never implied business is evil don't be a retard. I simply ask corporations pay taxes and so do the richest 1% for logical economic reasons. You disagree and say that this works but the last 20 years would disagree. low taxation does not create jobs that is a myth

  • @pandasftuw the President, LSM and Liberals in general have implied that business and corporations are bad. Part of their class warfare game. HATE the top 1% and all of that. I think you are retarded if you deny that. I would love ALL corporations to pay a REASONABLE taxe rate, no exemptions or subsides for the government's fav. I also want the 51% of Americans who live here to pay as well. Ignore the fact that I proved you wrong with this past Decembers economic uptick. Sigh, Ideologues...

  • @ladylordess No they haven't., they have implied SOME corporations and businesses are bad which they are. 20 years of bush tax cuts and corporations dogding taxes and you are pointing to the december uptick as proof this system works? Ignoring unemployment and the economy.

The clinton era created jobs and had a great economy, corporations and the rich were paying taxes

again why do you hate the middle class?

  • @pandasftuw "No they haven't" OK You stay in LaLa land and believe whatever you want. I am telling you the facts as a business person and small bank investor. Clinton and Reagan had 4% growth at a time when they cut spending. Odd huh?! I don't hate the middle class. I dislike weak people who blame and make excuses instead of getting out and doing something. The American Dream does still exist for those willing to find a way to make it happen, and the dream is not a handout.

  • @ladylordess weak people = disabled and elderly well aren't you moral ;]

and ok then when has obama ever said ALL business is bad for america?

in the 10 years the bush tax cuts have been in effect we have lost 1.1 million jobs

when clinton raised taxes he created 23 million jobs in 8 years, that is proof that the rich and corporations do not need to pay nothing in order for jobs to be created.

  • @pandasftuw moral: I don't think you know what the word means. Who ever blames and makes excuses are weak regardless of age. Disabilities often make people stronger. You think you would understand that, but perhaps you are incapable so you will just make excuses and blame. Weak!

Go back to blame, that really is moving forward!!! We will have change of the positive kind in Nov 2012.

  • @ladylordess Obviously I was refering to the elderly and disabled who can't work ( I never called anyone weak that was you) the ones you hate and class as weak and want to take their benefits away. Oh now all of a sudden you want to go forward that wouldn't have anything to do with your tax theory being proven wrong. You're a joke. YEAH 2012 npa is a job killer, lets roll back taxes (especially for the rich and big corps) roll back child labour laws and kill weak people (because their to blame)

  • @pandasftuw LOL Obviously I did not say I "hate" anyone. YOU DID!! lol. Good thing the "elderly and disabled" that you refer to are a small number, and many of them have worked most of their lives. If they are so disabled that they cannot contribute to society IN ANY CAPACITY, they are in a home or have a caregiver. You choose to use these people as an EXCUSE!

If you want to see a good joke, look at the weak excuse of a human being you are by looking in the mirror.

    Now go pay your dues.

  • @ladylordess and how are these homes and caregivers paid for? VIA TAXES but by your logic the working class should pay for them and the rich should not for a reason you can't seem to articulate.

I pay my taxes and the rich with any moral sense want to pay their fair share to society, but you want the bankers/big corps/1% to go untaxed (for again reasons you have not voiced apart from job creation which is evidently not a result of low taxes) why are you insulting people trying to solve this?

  • @pandasftuw You want me to answer a broad question for individual cases??? lol. Silly. I guess you are expecting a government answer.

You are obviously envious and angry with the successful because you did not succeed. I hope your bitterness doesn't spread to a child.

  • @ladylordess I'm angry at the goverment for letting the rich not pay their fair share to society and the economy suffering for it,

your insults are tedious and laughable and you no valid reason as to why the rich should pay less taxes, you are a fucking joke.

the only argument you can muster is that I'm just envious of rich people based on the fact I want them to pay their fair share and not dodge taxes, your assertion has is totally nonsensical.

  • @pandasftuw Everyone should pay a percentage. We should not be subsidizing or playing favorites with anything or anyone. Currently 51% of Americans pay no taxes at all. That number is heading in the wrong direction. You find my comment an insult, rather than the truth?!! THAT is laughable. Only so many can ride in the cart while the others are pushing it up the hill. The D party wants to put more in the cart, aka votes. They have failed the US. Change we can believe in?!!

  • @ladylordess The democrats extended the bush tax cuts wtf are you talking about?

the number is not heading anywhere but it SHOULD be a lot higher.

"Only so many can ride in the cart while the others are pushing it up the hill." That is evidently ment to be anti socilaist but the richest 1% and the ones riding in the cart this is wealth distribution but upwards and in what logic is that good for america?

  • @pandasftuw The tax cuts are temporary and they still are PAYING taxes, versus the 51% of Americans who are NOT paying a dime! Is that right? NO! ALL should pay the same percentage. Good thing Obama will NOT be able to raise taxes now. Those who are paying nothing are riding in the cart, who are you trying to kid? The cart wouldn't even be built if we had to depend on those who want to ride for free in the cart!! Hell if we depended on those people, the wheel still would not have been invented.

  • @ladylordess so you don't want anyone to pay taxes? So everything for profit? you are truly sickening. And no everyone shouldn't pay the same ammount that is just common sense that people who earn more should contribute more.

your last sentence = worship rich people and kill the inemployed

There are 14.2 million people unemployed, and 3.4 million job openings. That means that 10.8 million people can't get off their ass and work... BECAUSE THERE IS NO JOB FOR THEM

    low taxes hasnt helped this

  • @pandasftuw So you don't want anyone to pay taxes! I want everyone to pay the same tax rate, and have corporate taxes lowered. I want our government to encourage offshore companies back and I want capital gains taken to zero. I want the economy jump started in a way that will work, not in an artificial government jump start/stimulus that does not and has not worked.

Your way is disgusting as all it did was waste our tax dollars, so that now we continue to borrow only to feed the debt.
