  • All these headscarves and high cheekbones and elbows wider than upper arms reminds me more of starving Ukrainian peasants than supermodels. But I guess a lot of these girls pretty much are starving Ukrainian peasants, anyway.

  • this was full-blown heroin chic... the girls are as emaciated as they are now, though nowadays they seem much more toned, kind of healthier, that is if that word could be applied to this aesthetic
