Now the problem: My GTA IV runs very bad on maximum settings at about 20fps constantly. Ithink it's because of the motherboard wich is very old and runs on DDR2 memory but i am not sure. If u can tell if I am right and it worth buying another motherboard, about 6GB DDR3 and maybe a better processor. Will my game run smoother?

um there should be no problem. try this: 1.Control Panel 2. System and Security or Security 3. View amount of ram and processor speed 4. Advanced System Settings 5. Advanced Tab 6. Performance Settings 7. Adjust for best perforance. it will look like older version of windows but it helps, u can always change it back. also try download Gamebooster. its free for normal and it will also give u more fps. Please reply if i helped u :) Im very helping for people who need help :)

with the commandline you can set up the graphics higher but it not will bring a change...all on high and view distance 100% but you only see 30% because your graphics card havent go enough memory...

Before I start, please know that I'm pretty poor when it comes to computer hardware related stuff so term errors and other mistakes are likely.

I have 2 gig of DDR3 RAM and as I'm driving along after about 10-20 minutes things start looking really crap and eventually start vanishing, I think this is a RAM problem but I don't know. I have the graphics card that came with the computer, I hope to get a better one by the end of the year.

I dont think that the GTA 4 benchmark show you the real FPS and usage % because look at the Video mem usage only 40 % xD i got the same card and i have a Q9550 @ 3,2 Ghz and 4 GB memory so its nearly the same setup (of gameing power) and i have Avarage FPS 55 too but my grafic memory is to 98% usage LOL and btw in game i have only 20-40 FPS so i think the benchmark SUCKS !
