  • wow didn't know Subaru made minivans...the one thing I can't stand bout this show EVERY speed is "a high rate", the car was doing 55......maybe....they overdramatize EVERYTHING...

  • My mother had Alzheimer's and we took the car keys away from her early on. If you have a family member that suffers from dementia or Alzheimer's, please take the car keys. This is a prime example of how people can get injured if not killed.

  • watch at 1.53 the red jeep airbags open...nice:)

  • the old dude has brain damage he has no idea where he is going

  • @OFIcerDude5 Which is why he shouldn't be allowed to drive.

  • did anyone else notice how many tires squeally sounds they added in there? a lot of them were when everyone was just going in a straight line.

  • Where did that happened in? I remembered seeing it on World's Wildest Police Video but I can't remember it location.

  • I hope him and his family suffer painful slow deaths. Him because he was probly one of those independent assholes who doesn't think they should give up any priveledges no matter how old and his family for letting him drive.

All of you rot in hell please.

  • @Saleen9090 Thank God these police have more developed minds than yours. Even a five year old would find your argument fundamentally destroyed in logic and reason.

  • @whattheheck1000 i wish soome one will smak him 4 saying dat

  • @whattheheck1000 Are you trying to sound intelligent? Go F*** yourself Socrates!

  • @Saleen9090 No, I'm defending the heroic work of these officers.

  • @whattheheck1000 agreed

  • crazy old fart

  • Comment removed

  • P.I.T that old motherfucker, shoot out his tires, do something, he easily could've killed people

  • @itsgaythatyourgay Actually, that would've been a bad idea since there was a lot of traffic coming from the opposite lane.

  • what the heck does he have access to a car for!>!?!?! he could of taken out more than just himself! like that car load of children?!?! what a stupid stupid move on someones part for allowing him access to a car!>!

  • Damn flashbakc, i was returning from canada. and on I75 south, an elderly lady was doing this. was tryign to find a lef tturn to get to hosp. ( to pick up husband. i put myself between her and other cars. had phoen on one hadm cb on other. ( truckers slowed rest of traffic down. got ohio police there QUICKLY

  • Kinda looked like an Aerostar from the front angle.. Once they go back to check on them you can tell it's a Forester. SUV not minivan

  • Almost looked like a GMC Jimmy to me more than an Aerostar lol...

I actually own a Subaru Forester lol...

  • Saw this exact chase on America's wildest chases, they said the man had Alzheimer s.

  • old guy should not have received any medical treatment for attempting to murder dozens and dozens of innocent people on the road.

i dont care if he was sick or whatever. he should not be on the road if he is not right of mind. police should have bigger SUVs in cases like that so that he hit the police SUV rather than an innocent family going about their day.

  • Very unfortunate thing to happen. Hope everyone was ok. Good thing the Taurus is built like a tank.

  • The maroon subaru forester obviously was not paying attention. If you just look carefully ahead of you while driving this will never happen. Just pay attention everyone.

  • oh yeah! it wasn't the old farts fault...everyone should have been looking out for him. jezzz!!!!

  • Driving is a matter of being aware. Even in ridiculous situations automobiles will only ever do what you tell them to do. Do you want to hit someone head on whether it's some crazy driver or not? Then pay attention everyone.

  • Much easier said than done, traveling at highway speeds makes it difficult to tell if someone is going the wrong directtion,I've been there.Like the narrator said, the wreck was bound to happen. If you haven't tried dodging someone coming head on at you at highway speeds (X2) then you have NO idea,it's almost impossible.Have you even been on a highway? Most of the time there's nowhere to get out of the way without hitting someone. We should all pay attention, but some things are beyond our control.

  • I have drive many miles on all kinds of roads. More specifically a little over 400,000 miles in 13 years. I've been out there and seen damn near everything. I've even seen a Ford Explorer coming at me on my side of a concrete barrier divided highway at 55mph or more. No problems occurred. In this video the impact was almost avoided. Only about 1-2 feet more of space and the cars would of cleared each other. They only needed 1-2 seconds more to make that distance. Reaction time = awareness.

  • Yeah...that time. But what about the next car or the car after that? Sooner or later someone would have passed a slow moving car and wouldn't have had the time to miss the idiot. Not everyone that is involved in an accident has their head up their ass. Sometimes, just sometimes, bad things happen to good people.

  • u dont understand, with his disease, he wouldnt know what the meaning of police is or w/e

  • (to thedarkallies)

Good thing the cops have more compassion than you, dick. I myself am very glad he made it.

I hope he's either alive or in heaven right now.

  • BTW, he would be 92 today. (see date: 06-05-98)

  • What interstate/highway/freeway was this chase on, anyone know?? This looks like somewhere in Texas...

  • The SUV was actually a GMC pick up. And that minivan was actually a Subaru Forester which is a SUV.

  • So you're saying George Bush shouldn't drive?

  • GO FORD TAURUS! ALL THE WAY!

  • I don't know, it seems like there was more than 'alzhiemers' at work here... I've had relatives that have had it, and I don't think they would get into a car, drive on the wrong side at like 60mph with a fleet of police cars behind (and infront of him) and not stop??

  • good ole ford taurus that thing just lost a wheel.

  • Old people need more drivers testing and vision testing and other shit. So many times, I see fucking old people who endanger everyone. And you can say I'm insensitive because this guy had alzheimers, but that's all the more fucking reason to have more driving tests for old people!

  • Don't talk shit about Alzheimer's victims. The dude (who I think is dead now, not sure) was old and sick and had no idea what the hell he was doing.

  • That fucking commentator pissed me off so bad... "the poor old man" and "thankfully the old man wasn't hurt." What the FUCK! He could have KILLED those children inside the van... KIDS, for fucks sake!! Makes me want to legalize torture just for him... Fucking old confused sacred BASTARD, rot in hell!

  • benz981, that is very retarded. THINK! You would torture a man with Alzheimer's? Your comment was very cruel.

  • how can he go that fast????0_0 i had a car just like that one. the speedometer only goes up to 85mph.

  • The speedometer doesn't limit the speed of the car.

  • I agree. WHAT THE FUCK was the guy doing with access to a car and keys? It doesn't matter a fuck if they're his; He does NOT belong on the road. It's only a shame that he didn't die in the crash; It might've been the best thing for him, with the Alzheimer's

  • Compulsory driving + eyesight tests for old drivers NOW !
