  • @sm00077 how much ps did your car have before you put these exhaust on it ?

  • Nice ;)

  • Diesel is where it is at. petrol is for people with no brain

  • Can you inform me how much horse power did the Miltek exhaust give to the audi a5 3.0

  • how 220kw?

  • @REALproCHEATER

How ? As you can read by chiptuning, sport exhaust and K&N sport filter.

  • I'm living in Singapore and I would definitely choose this 3litre TDI over the 3.2 FSI. Cos petrol here is damn expensive. I'm not even sure if I would buy this car cos it will cost me S$208 000. ):

  • PD: The exhaus is tuned...

Record the engine to listen to a 60 ground sportive van...

  • that's AWESOME

    0-60 in 5.7 seconds...and 550 miles/900km per 60 litres of fuel. Gotta love TDI.

  • one of the nicest cars(my oppinion). because it´s a diesel,it´s economical and it has a lot of power. and yours sounds as well like the 3.2 or better, nice job 5/5

  • V6 TDI ^^

  • 3.0TDI or 3.2FSI ??? !!!

  • It doesn´t sound like a diesel, but...

Anyway, you can just go to 4500rpm and is pointless to buy an A5 diesel, people is stupid and buy diesel because everybody does, it isn´t even that economic. Can you afford an A5? yes? then don´t be a fool and go to the petrol!!

Petrol cars are much better, diesel should be only for trucks, 4x4, trains and heavy stuffs...

  • Youre trying to say 3.0 TDi audi is a bad motor? Just tell me why? Did you drive A5 3.0TDi and 3.2FSI? I dont think so...

  • No, of course it is NOT a bad diesel engine, but is pointless, why would you choose a diesel over a petrol? Because is more economical?? Then you are wrong if you want an A5.

I haven´t driven those cars, but I´ve driven many petrol and diesels and the difference is huge, and not only bad diesels E-class CDI, A6 TDI, but they sill not at the same level as petrol cars, I find more exciting any petrol than any diesel.

Just, tell me, why do you prefer diesels?? =)

  • Yes sure, this is your opinion. I don't prefer diesel engines but this one in A5 3.0TDi is awesome. Great torque and power, no smoke, etc.. Maybe i like it, becouse i dont think audi a5 is a real sports car. Its car for everydey use. I dont think, someone buy this car for weekend driving. Youre right in this way - For example 350Z is a sports car no matter if you like it or not. And if they make 350Z with diesel engine a agree its crap. But A5 is only good looking audi, not R8..know i mean?

  • Yes, I know it is not a supercar like a Murcielago, but that kind of coupé uses to be sportive and diesel doesn´t match well.

Anyway you like it because it has a good engine and, of course, I agree it is a good diesel engine, but if you compare it to the petrol version, the petrol wins.

The only thing better of the diesels is the fuel economy, but it wouldn´t make me choose a diesel over a petrol.

Yes, I understand you mate, but maybe I´m too antidiesel =)

  • Actually no, the TDI is faster than the 3.2FSI. At least at everyday speeds.

  • @ralph3nuis But the Diesel has turbo and the petrol doesn´t. Let´s compare both engines without turbo... I talk about the engine; petrol engines are always better.

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 u're right,but how come they coldn't make diesel engines with 100hp/l on diesel too ?

after all,the diesel engines should be the future because the germans managed to make VW Jetta TDI which is very eco and the electrical ones are too expensive,so they have to wait

  • @AdrianosFidi Diesel is bad for humans health, and not more eco than petrol.

I don´t care about ECO, is just a big lie to make us pay taxes. Diesels are better for fuel comsuption, but for driving pleasure in can only be petrol...

  • @WHITEVOLK8814

But todays FSI engines has the sound close to TDI engine, 4500 rpm, but in these rev you have 280 km/h so it doesn't matter. And it does work from 1500 rpm, which most petrol engines doesn't. Economy, personally I usally have 6.8 l/100 km in my 250 km trip, try it with 3.2FSI.

  • Let me doubt it, the sound is smoother and better in TFSI. It´s true diesels have improved their sound, but they still worse than petrols´.

The thing is that petrol engines are more sportive than diesels, so that´s why I don´t understand to put a diesel in a "sports car". 6.8l/100km? at what speeds? is impresive.

But anyway your car still very good so congratulations for owning it!!

    Just, I´m a petrol-head =)

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 i totally agree with u !!!

  • @Crashy5627

Thank you=) Diesels are great for pulling trailers, but cars must be petrol.

  • @WHITEVOLK8814

    I agree, but try Audi A4/A5 3.0TDI V6 and you'll see.

  • @WHITEVOLK8814

    I agree, but try Audi A4/A5 3.0TDI V6 and you'll see.

  • DIESEL POWER!!!! u have no idea whit u are talking about petrol is for fools.

  • @rowingu16 Diesel is for poor people like you. Real cars use petrol. The performance, sound and sensations are better in a petrol powered car.

Nobody would buy Diesels if the petroleum prices weren´t that high...

Is there any Ferrari Diesel? Is Ferrari for fools? You have no idea about cars. Go drive your Ford Fusion Diesel and shut up!

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 well... did a Diesel powered car win the Le Mans 24 Hour Race??

  • @rowingu16 Yes, and what you mean?? Rules suck in Le Mans, and give advantages to TurboDiesels...

Anyway a Diesel engine will never be sporty. I know that the Seat Leon TDi also wins WTCC competitions, but is pathetic thato see a crap Diesel like that racing.

WTCC and DTM, were far, far better years ago with real cars like M3 E30, 190E EVOII, 155 GTA, SIERRA...

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 look mate u are making no sense crap Diesel...wtf??

  • @rowingu16 A Seat Leon is a crap Diesel. I don´t care if it has 600hp and 800Nm, it stills sound like a Diesel and drive like a Diesel. It´s not all about power and top speed, it´s about sensations.

Diesels are not made to be fun or sporty, they are economical nothing more than that. I´ve driven powerfull Diesels but I still prefer the feel of a petro car.

  • @rowingu16 You know nothing about cars. The only car you´ve driven is the one from the driving school, that´s why you love Diesels that much.

Take off the Turbocharger from your crapy Diesel engine and then let´s talk about its performance...

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 haha u make me laugh because torque is what creates that sensation and nothing bets a 3208 cat at WOT

  • @rowingu16 Yes, the sensation of the TURBO, that´s what you mean.

Because all modern Diesels are turbo. The torque does nothing without horsepower, the HPs are the key.

A turbo petrol would make you feel that sensation with better sound and more revs. I like turbos, but I still prefer a good old school N/A big petrol engine.

  • torque= Acceleration which makes the sensation plus a Diesels sound much better. Most turbo petrol only last 200 thousand k's before they need a full rebuild and trust me I know.

  • @rowingu16 Yes, but it isn´t everything. If you have lots of torque, but no HPs, it is useless.

That´s not true, but I admit that turbo petrol are more complicated than turbo Diesels.

Diesels sound better?? Sorry, you lost this battle... Ha, ha, ha.

  • It is true thank you very much, because petrol is not oil but Diesel is. therefore this means the the cylinder wall and piston rings of a petrol will wear out much faster.

and BTW if you have lots of HP and no torque you going to go no where fast.

NO torque = no rotational moment.

  • @rowingu16 Nope, the oil lubricates the cylinder walls, not the diesel or petrol.

If you use a good oil your engine will last forever.

Yes, but every car has torque and HP, what I say is that you don´t need that much torque. Turbo Diesels have lots of torque from idle, that´s why they are great for trucks, but for cars they aren´t.

A Diesel will never have the progressivity, the sound and the feeling of a good petrol engine.

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 Look mate iv been a Diesel mechanic for 15 years if you choose not to believe me that's your problem. petrol is for your grandma's shopping trolley. Real men drive Diesels.

  • @rowingu16 I am also mechanic, and what you say is not true.

There are reliable engines, both Diesel and Petrol. Modern diesels use to have problems with turbos, egr´s and airflow meters. That´s a fact.

Real men drive petrol and manual!!

  • Is PETROL an OIL NO!! Is DIESEL an OIL YES !! there for will provide added lubrication to the cylinder wall and will not where out as fast as a petrol DUH!!!!!! That's a true FACT by the way!

  • @rowingu16 Oil lubricates, gasoline explotes and generates movement, water cools, brakes stop the car and the gearbox allows you to change the torque that goes to the wheels. Everything has its mission...

  • @WHITEVOLK8814 oh well done. You know the basic principles of how a car works.

Do you want a prize for that?

  • @rowingu16 I don´t want any prize for that. I´m just pointing that the oil lubricates the cylinder walls, so you don´t need any extra lubrication from the gasoline/gasoil.
