I listened to a whole bunch of Telex stuff a few years ago; I thought it was pretty boring, except for this track. I thought this was the only track that showed cleverness and actual craftsmanship. Then I find out that it's a cover, and I'm not surprised.
Ahh I always thought it was aneurism! (Neurovision) Sing it... An-neur-is-m! I wish to hear the American release version of Reality but it's not around.
@mocangetLOW wow, really? I bought her first album back in 1979 and loved it. I've been listening to it again these last few weeks and still love it, my favourite tracks being this one, Sparkling World and Quite Still. Such modern sounds combined with timeless melodies and voice were way ahead of their times. I always wondered what she did after her two albums with Roberto Cacciapaglia. Please do give her my best regards and thanks for the many lovely moments spent listening to her music.
I am a fan of Telex, especially L'Amour Toujours, but the Ann Steel version is my favorite, between the two. I just enjoy her singing style , with those lyrics and music.

Ron and Russell Mael - they are Sparks, not Telex.

@Pommit
That is true, but Sparks were very good friends of Telex, and slept on their studio floor. Sparks also wrote the songs for Telex's 3rd album SEX.
