I was playing in a club in Vegas in 1972 and Dionne came in after the strips shows were over and we had to practically drag up on stage to sing a song with us she was awesome.

why is the tempo always faster when she plays live?

@LarryDavidFreak .....A lot of times in concert they speed up the tempo for more energy to a song plus it gets the crowd up. Michael Jacskon did this a lot on his tours even though he definately didnt need to boost people into getting into the groove. And sometimes they speed it up in order to cover all the songs that they want to fit into the show. I prefer original tempos on songs.
