  • im physically handicaped and i use the phrase thats so retarded but i admit that does make me a hypoctite because i dont think that gays should say retarded in public

  • There is a big difference between innocuously saying something is "retarded," and offensively calling someone a "retard". Check out "TED vs Sarah Silverman"

  • Omg your chest is too much and your nipples are mesmerizing.

  • i constantly just stare at your mouth, your teeth glow...

  • It's not bad to say "that's so gay" when referencing butt sex, rainbow flags, same sex marriage or stuff like that.

Some say words are only harmful if you give them credence or worth. However, by doing your impersonation of a more effeminate gay man at 1:54 aren't you also submitting to the same stereotypes in which you would not want most straights to use when they might say, "that's so gay?" Think about it.

  • My gay friend says "That's so gay!" all the time.

  • love :)

  • how come the guys that are gay have to be attractive.

  • @34kaylamarie that's like saying how come the guys that are straight have to be ugly. that's not true.

  • @SkwerlBergamot someone dropping a bowling ball on you nuts is moronic, not retarded. And grown men watching my little ponies may be due to a cognitive illness or a genuine like for cartoons, nothing to do with sexual orientation.

  • i always say "thats lame" cause gay and retarded bother me as well lol

  • @aznfanboi What's your beef with lame people? That's offensive to people who can't walk

  • your soo hot. i love it

  • Davey, as the father of two individuals with cognitive disorders THANK YOU for your support against using the word Retarded. Your vlog buddies should take a moment and check out the campaign Spread The Word To End The Word. The annual event to draw focus to our issue is coming up in March I'd love to see you encourage EVERYONE who follows you to sign the pledge to END THE WORD!! Google R-word or Spread The Word for links to the site.

  • i personally feel when those two phrases are used, that a conflict should be brought up only when it something is gay, or retarded, like a bunch of grown men watching my little ponies is pretty gay, or having someone drop a bowling ball on your nuts for laughs is retarded

  • Im actually gay and also so "thats gay" but I dont take it as an insult to begin with. I personally feel that its just context and that word has been changed so much that "gay" has lost a lot of its real meaning, but thats just my opinion on the matter and do realize some people do get offended by it so I do my best to be careful with both words.

  • get over it.

  • [ . ] [ . ]

  • @HeffernanProductions ( . )( . ) sorry but last I checked, boobs weren't square LOL

  • @XDuskTheStrangeX I think they're supposed to be pecs, which aren't really round. :)

  • New old spice spokesman

  • I completely agree

  • jest because i like being controversal. "thats retarded" started when retarded was still a pc term before the mentaly handicapped started not liking it. in that time it was used for thats so stupid... if i need to point out why... well it should be obvious. and after that is when retarded was no longer counted as pc but people continued doing it. the habit was formed before it was innapropriate to call someone retarded.

  • @vanitytommy But I think the argument is that using a term for somebody's disability as a put down for something else is offensive. Just like when somebody uses gay, a term denoting somebody's sexual orientation, as a derogatory put down for something else. Either way, it's taking a term that refers to a group of people and turning it into an insult. Anyway, I think that's what he meant. Thanks Davey Wavey. :)

  • I really appreciated this video. It's so wonderful when somebody gets it. Thank you.

  • whats retarded is that you took your shirt off to make this video

  • It means a lot to me that you made this video. I feel the exact same way. Whenever I hear the word "retarded" it really hits me hard. I think it is really important that people understand how hurtful that word is. Even if you didn't say anything to that radio host, you made this video and I think that is really awesome. xxx

  • HAHA what!?

"thats so retarded" is referencing a mental state of retardation in a slang, colloquial way.

"thats so gay" is expressing that something pertains to, or insinuates a statement or object is 'homosexual'. again, typically in a slang colloquial way. Also, you dont hear adults say "thats gay" this is teenager linguo.

those are not comparable. does "thats far out" mean the same thing as "thats dope".? no. they dont. one is a 70's term, the other is a drug reference. come on now.

  • @muscabeats If you say that is so retarded then your reinforcing the stereotype that retarded = stupid. The parrallell is that when people call something gay very often it is reinforcing the stereotype that gay = bad. Both are generalising negative traits across the whole group, and both are as davey has said marginalising.

  • @thunderpi

oh, well I could think of 100 words that can be used to portrait a negative message. That just kinda makes the video pointless.

  • Comment removed

  • politically correct CUNT !

  • Comment removed

  • I might take you more seriously if I couldn't see your nipples

  • There's a difference between being retarded and being mentally challenged.

    Learn it: http://bit.ly/ys88bY

  • talking about foreskin. OBVIOUSLY.

  • Why are you so hot? -_- )) I'm almost always saying how people shouldn't say 'that's so gay' or 'that's so retarded', because those two words aren't synonyms for stupid, or wrong, or weird. Why is it I always get stick for saying 'that's so straight'? It's the same concept, just in reverse. People should think more about what they say, because where I come from, 'that's so gay' is an afterthought.

  • @andrewwearspants so uhmm...you assume i'm being counter-offensive by flipping the use of sexual orientation? That's just so straight of you.

  • Estas muy bien cuidado de tu cuerpo eres tan sexy!!!.

  • Even his shadow is hot! *drools*

  • My life's goal is to hug you, It's on my bucket list.

  • The entire world would be a better place if everyone stopped getting so damn offended by everything. It's not about, as "intoTaboo" said: "Self-centeredness and self-righteousness are in style these days." It's about everyone taking everything SO PERSONALLY you have to tiptoe around people in case they get OFFENDED.

  • Thank you! I was lecturing my brother about this phrase as well. I was telling him that it is just as offensive as "That's so gay" because retarded people obviously don't choose to be retarded, and they may do some non normal things, but that does not make them stupid. :/

  • I agree, it bothers me when I hear that. I probably should speak up more when I hear it, even though I hate any kind of confrontation and I'm not very good at arguing my point. Still, I really should. <3

  • God your pecs and shoulders are beyond amazing.

  • you let that bitch call you retarded? THATS retarded!

  • @mtxoracle I think you completely missed the point of this whole entire video.

  • Davey thats retarded!!!

  • @matts2gr8 That's* Just goes to show people who do not have a big vocabulary and resort to vulgar, obnoxious insults also do not value education and have a lack of it.

  • Comment removed

  • Straight people. they are SO RETARDED

  • DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU ! It should be a rule of life to just treat every other human being the way you wish to be treated

  • While political correctness is important, I also believe you shouldn't give words power. The second you take offence is the second that the words own you. While I do think that Davey has a point (mainly because physically or mentally challenged people have a much harder time defending themselves) I don't believe it applies to the LGBT community or more widely, any able bodied person. They're just words.

  • @zzzave But taking offense is not exactly a voluntary process. I cant choose to be offended when someone calls me a faggot. It would be much easier if it didn't but I cant help that it is offensive. I may have this wrong but it sounds like your discouraging action when someone says something that offends you.

  • I completely support this vid! As people who can be marginalized ourselves, the LGBTQ community should know the essentiality of political correctness! I also just want to say - calling yourself and/or your gay friends "fags"/"dykes" is NOT the same as calling them retarded if you are all able-bodied people. Learn yo' privilege!

  • I know that I have trouble not saying that one sometimes, and it's especially hypocritical for me. I have Aspergers Syndrome, so that's like a gay person saying "that's so gay." I feel bad every time I do it, but I'm learning. :)

  • @Zorvix626 Good luck with your learning then hun. All the best for your future.

  • Okay. I wasn't sure about you until now, but I've decided that I love you, after watching this video.

  • I still don't think "Gay" and "Retarded" are in the same camp, because gay has come to mean homosexual in a non-insulting way, but "retarded" is always a bad thing. It doesn't have to have anything to do with mentally handicapped people, the freaking definition of "to retard" is "to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede." And no I'm not pulling the old "lol gay means happy so ur jus sayin that's so happy lol," to retard IS to hinder/delay.

  • @GamesR4FITE But when people say that is retarded, they don't mean that is slow, or that has been delayed, they mean that is stupid. so what is happening is people are slightly changing the use of the word retard from to slow down to mean stupid. Also mental retardation is a person whos cognitive function is significantly impaired. It is a medical term, and does also reffer to the mentally handicapped.

  • i love you

  • i am gay but i am not a happy go lucky gay, im a synical one. i get called all the gay slang names but it doesn't really bother me anymore. i am mean i say that's so retarded. if people are going to be mean to me, im going to be mean to other people.

  • Davey, props to you for saying this. In the gay community, we spend too much time bullying each other and have the audacity to ask people to treat us so well. It begs the phrase, "Love yourself because if you can't love yourself, then you cant love anyone else." Same goes for the community.

  • As a person with cerebral palsy, who is also gay, calling some one retarded is worse than "that's so..." Retard--(which is now medically "developmentally disabled) is one of the most hateful words now. As it refers to a non-existent medical condition which is seen by most as mental illness. It simply means the person's mental abilities are not as high as a "normal" persons. Even though I am of average intelligence, I have been called "retarded" by total strangers. Thanks, Davey, love u.

  • That was all sarcasm, right?

Because I'm still mad if people use the words that can refer to homosexuals as derogatory or derogatory words to refer to homosexuals. Even if I say nothing, inside - I'm not simply forgiving it.

  • thats so raven

  • @videogeek12345 Haha. I love you for saying that.

  • I'm bisexual and I still say: ''omg that's so gay'' of ''a pink dress, what, are you gay?'' I'm not using it as an insult :)

  • @mrsblabla2410 Except that word 'gay' carries an emotional weight with it, so even if you don't intend to cause offense, you still are (at least to some people). You wouldn't call a black person the n word, would you? That's because there is tremendous emotional weight attached to it.

  • @MrLemonhead2 nigga you gay as hell

  • @xBlake4 And you are a cunt. :-)

  • I definitely agree 100%, but after 10 years of working with developmentally delayed patients in my career... I slip all the time, but I try not to. It just happens.

  • @BellHooksUrge sigh people raging, tbh i ment that its not as bad as direct insults... jeez, you say one thing thats not even offensiv and people have hissy fits

  • I never use that and hate it when people do. :I There are a lot of people in this world who know challenged people and my cousin was. It hurts me when people use and I'm also a lesbian so when people use 'that gay' it hurts too. I can't help feeling a little melodramatic but words hurt.

  • When ever I use the phrase "That's retarded." is when it's actually correctly used... Damn you physics labs and calculating Planck's Constant!

  • Davey: We are all important unique expressions of diversity. You can judge Radio Lady's words and fuel the fire of how disempowering they can be, but these expressions only have the power we give them. We are only bound by what we believe. Why impose the righteousness of PC on Radio Lady? is your love conditional upon what is politically correct? Is she what is "wrong" with the world, or a high five from the universe showing us how unconditionally loving and resiliently peaceful we are? <3

  • @DinahWest how is it being hypersensitive to point out that this is an offensive and disgusting piece of language to use? It is as bad as saying "that's so black" or "that's so gay". It is targeting someone on the axis of not racism or sexual orientation, but about their mental capacities. It is taking the perceived weakness of a group and projecting it onto someone else as an insult. It is harmful. There is nothing "best" about calling someone mentally retarded.

  • Well said Davey! I almost never use the word retarded, but the few times I have said it I have felt guilty afterwards.

  • Yeah, but really, who's going to be offended. The retarded won't be offended because they won't understand. Saying something is retarded, seems to me to be a victimless crime.

  • @jeredmccorkle families of mentally retarded people will definitely understand that you are taking the weakness of a loved one and using it as an insult. And some mentally retarded people, if high functioning, will catch on that these words are designed to mock them as much as they mock the intended target.

  • go davey go! my brother had down syndrome and whenever i hear someone use that phrase, i feels like i just got punched in the gut personally i think that the phrase "That's retarded" is more offensive than "that's gay" because gay people can defend themselves and point that out and understand what it means but in most cases people with mental retardation cannot either way im glad someone that people will actually listen to finally spoke up about this

  • I actually agree. I hate the word "retarded" and if any of my friends or family say it then I say to them "look, there are other words, please use them."

  • Well its sorta the same, but retarded is a word that is targeted at people with disabilities and/or mental disorders, and i dont think that they are in too much of a hurry to defend the word "retarded", its like us gays saying its offensive for someone to say "thats so faggy", its offensive in a way but not as direct as saying "thats so gay" or "thats so disabled"

  • @RandomAlexLol

I would like to know what you mean by overly sensitive. How is calling out someone on their offensive terminology, and explaining why it's offensive, considered "overly sensitive"? basically, you're saying: "I want the freedom to keep calling someone retarded, and I don't like that you challenged this freedom with something silly like the fact that it is hurtful and disrespectful"

  • i usualy agree with you but in this case i think your just encourageing people to be overly secitive and overly pc. sorry.

  • Why are u always shirtless in ur videos? Hella cocky. And I don't like how ur gay and u always act so flamboyant and peppy and girly and all. It promotes the negative stereotype that gays act a certain way

  • @Cadetsc Joking?

  • @Cadetsc Buddy, your attention to and other people's attention to what the "negative gay stereotype" is, is what is keeping that concept alive and well defined. The solution is to allow people to be who they are, choose to not be a hater, and let haters hate. You may even want to be an example of what you'd like people to think about your kind. It feels good to appreciate. Thanks for inspiring the exhilaration of this reply. You are the difference you're looking to see.

  • You can put your foot in my mouth Davey ... mmmmmm ;)

  • Although I agree in general with what you're saying, sometimes I think we get too caught up in always trying to be politically correct. It's the equivalent of saying, "That's so stupid", IMO. Now I know lots of stupid people and I'm sure everyone else does as well. Do they get offended? It's also like saying, "I had a blonde moment". Do you think blonde people should be up in arms? Just saying, sometimes we need to let things go or before long, we won't be able to say anything IMO.

  • There are times when I make that mistake - the "that's retarded" phrase. I feel bad the moment I realize what I've just said.

  • Davey, you are so right. Trying to stop using that word has been my self improvement project for the last few months and it's going very well. I have replaced it with moronic,, it gets the point across with out being offensive

  • While we're on the subjest. The word 'tranny' is offensive to the transgendered community. Just a little FYI.

  • @DanG92263 Oops. 'Subject' not 'subjest'. :)

  • Certainly language in the bedroom is not fit for the boardroom, and what is offensive to some is not to others, but we should all make an effort to be cordial.

  • Davey - I think you should reach out to this woman and let her know what your experience was like with her and how her use of "that's retarded" made you feel and see how she responds.

  • I feel kind of bad because I zoned out halfway through the video staring at your muscles moving. :3

  • preach davey. I am gay and hate it when my friends say thats retarted pisses me off. P.S. can't stop looking at your chest =P

  • I feel like you've done this before but with a diffrent situation hmmmmmm

  • Fag .. how about that!

  • I had to rewatch the video cuz his body was yelling at me.

but anyway. what i was thinking was yeah what we're saying sometimes, like that's so retarded is actually referring to something that is quite stupid or "retarded". But when people are calling something that they don't necessarily like or think is stupid, then call it gay, doesn't make sense. because its not gay.. now i would understand if a guy was walking holding hands with his bf. because thats gay. nom sayn?

  • Awkward moment if that woman sees this...

  • I'm guilty of saying 'retarded', and I know it's bad but it just slips out due to habit! How can I stooooop D:

  • @NickAgostino33 Wash your mouth out with soap? That's what my mother would have suggested. How about instead that you apologize to anyone around you for making the comment, then move on. This will do two things. It will acknowledge the error to those listening and let them know you're working on it. And I would think that after a few dozen time apologizing you'd be tired of doing it and just stop using the phrase.

  • you should of got on that bitch like that's retarted well bitch your retarded to so shut the fuck up witcha bitch ass ,./;'[]

  • Have you been to the dentist? Your talking with a lisp and half your mouth isn't moving. Hehe.

  • @MissWillowWillow You're such a comedian. Don't give up your day job.

  • Nipples

  • this is so clever I hate to say "that is so gay" I always wanted to express my position in different phrase.

  • sigh.... becoming overly politically correct just makes us conceited, arrogant pricks who become overly offended by the most RETARDED SHIT. Words will only hurt you if you CHOOSE to let them hurt you. You are simply empowering the bullcrap that which you complain so much about. -.- just...deal with it. Shouldn't tolerance ring an ironic bell here?

  • @xTom4Tomx Your statement rings of such bullshit I don't know where to start; however, I will say that part of what you say is true, but on the other hand, it shouldn't be a license to dump your shit onto others. When people constantly vomit their crap on you, something is bound to stick. At some point, don't I have the right to say, 'Hey, stop you're crap it's offensive."

  • WAIT WHAT STATION im from the great city of philly

  • me and my freinds call eachother faggs, its kinda like black people calling eachother niggas. but i guess the word retarded is diffrent...

  • L'esprit de l'escalier (staircase wit)

    Spirit of the staircase

  • awesome video <3 hey um... what is blog tv? ive been hearing that for years and have never known what it is :3 im too lazy for google

  • Yeah, my favorite phase to say when someone says something like that is, "Excuse me!?" That calls attention to something that they've said and give them the opportunity to recant or apologize for the, perhaps, thoughtless comment. It then allows me to make comment about what they've said if they're clueless as to why I said, "Excuse me?!!"

  • Quit being so sensitive and grow some skin! Life is not fare, children are mean, and not everything should be taken literally!

  • @nmfunrider Spoken like a true bully.

  • @DanG92263 I'm not a bull, In fact I was gay when it wasn't cool, so I got picked on quite a bit. My point is that there are always going to insensitive people, and if you don't learn to brush it off, you're going to live a very unhappy life.

  • @nmfunrider Okay, now you're a victim I wish you would make up your mind. (jk)

Life is hard enough, why should I have to put up with someone's crap. If I care about our relationship, I'm going to pull you aside and tell you what I think privately. If it's a public situation, I'll try to be tolerant or simply move away from you. But at some point, especially if your actions are hurting others, I'm goign to speak up.

  • @nmfunrider Wow, can't wait for you to become a parent! (Yuck! It will take more than mouth wash to get that lie out of my mouth!)

  • 304th viewer

  • I honestly don't understand why people are offended by the phrases "that's retarded" and "that's gay". I admit that I say/have said both of these and I'm certainly not straight. I hate prejudice and rudeness, but to me it's not offensive. It's just a turn of phrase, modern language, plus it'll go away eventually. I'm not thinking of people who are gay or mentally disabled when I hear or say it. It's simply way of expressing frustration in a situation.

  • @AkiiRyuuha Also, if you're going to take such phrases to be offensive, shouldn't you take "that's stupid" the same way? It really is the same, when you think about it. Plenty of people have a below-average intelligence. Plenty of them, as well as many others, have been called stupid in their lifetime. I'm sure that someone, somewhere, is bothered or hurt by the phrase. Yet it is not considered offensive. I feel that one shouldn't pick and choose, but perhaps I'm in the wrong.

  • @AkiiRyuuha I totally agree with your first statement. I think that 'stupid' is a word that should be stricken from everyones vacabulary.

  • @AkiiRyuuha technically, it is still ableism, but stupid isn't used as a medical term for people of lesser intelligence, whereas mental retardation is still a valid term.

Ableism includes phrases like "that's crazy/psychotic". So yeah, it really is offensive, because what you're doing by using this phrase is taking the weakness of a particular group and projecting it onto someone else, thereby painting them with the same weakness in order to be insulting.

  • @AkiiRyuuha So, what you mean to say is that you speak without thinking?

  • @DanG92263 I meant to say exactly what I said. When I, personally, say or hear either of the two phrases I do not mean it to be or take it to be offensive. To anyone. It's a turn of phrase; an evolution of the English language that, like "rad" or "betty", will eventually disappear.

I try not to be offended at things that are not meant to be taken as such. You can't change every little thing that bugs you, so chill some on things that people do without cruel intent.

    Also, stop trolling.

  • @DanG92263 I apologize for the "trolling" comment. I just saw your other posts and realized you weren't just trying to cause an argument.

  • @AkiiRyuuha No problem. Thanks for the apology. :)

  • @AkiiRyuuha I think you have to realize though that your words may be offensive to those around you and now that you know, it's up to you to decide if you wish to continue to use them.

  • just make a porno...

  • soo...its like a friend of mine said to me one day...Why let a word get you down? We have let a word "gay" hinder us for the majority of our lives. Why can't we chose to dominate it and use it in our favor and show that the word "gay" has no power over us. and SOYERFULLER is right...retarded does me hinder, impede, and slow...thus if i were to say something is retarded then i would mean that in my opinion it is hindering a process that is being done.

  • After staring into your eyes for most of the video I have come to the (unsurprising) conclusion that Davey Wavey is perfect

  • are you a taker or giver?

    ( i guess taker )

  • you need to look up the definition of retarded...sure its often used to reference the mentally handicapped but just like gay means happy retarded can mean hinder, impede or slow.

  • @soyerfuller But when people say, "That's gay." they don't mean that is happy. They mean that it is lame or undesirable, unwanted. Word have power. That's why we write them down and enshine them behind glass in the Library of Congress, etch them in stone. If you don't think this is so, walk up to your mother or girlfriend and call her a 'c*nt' and see what happens.

  • That's so true people are really hippo critical and don't realize how it feels to be alienated or assume what they say is not offending you because it' may be sayed in passing but it still hurts

  • another great video

  • I love all your videos your so awesome keep it up.

  • I totally agree! OMG Thank you for explaining it for people who dont understand that saying "that's retarded" is just as offensive as saying "that's gay"

  • Deep Thoughts.

  • just now jumping on the bandwagon with this one? i thought we all settled this in 2010....

  • I once got a Transvastite pissed at me because I called him a woman. WTF People?

  • When people say "That's so gay" it doesn't really bother me because people use that phrase all the time ofr things that aren't at all related to homosexuality.

But to be honest, if you say "That's so retarded" when there are no retards around, who really cares. I'm not saying it's right, but if it doesn't offend anyone then it who cares.

Saying it on the radio though - that's bad.

  • @woodybarn66 Really don't care what you say when you are totally alone, but you never really know if you've offended someone unless they tell you, right? Unless I already have a relationship with the person and/or I care about that relationship, I'm not likely to tell them how their words made me feel. Why would I trust them with that? I'm more likely to distance myself from them, and I might be missing out on an otherwise great person. So why use such words and potentially push people away?

  • Some times we're all caught off guard, it's great that you came back and addressed the issue though, Thanks!!

  • It's why I say "that's so straight"

  • @OneJumpFromEden

Me too! Lawrence Welk, holy shit that's so straight! That's the perfect example of something truly being straight that you have to add the that's so in front of it.

  • @OneJumpFromEden Coming from a straight guy, saying "that's so straight" just sounds stupid and no straighht person would get offended by it.

  • @Andrewwearspants That's one of the reasons some people use "that's so straight", because it is a ridiculous thing to say and so is "that's so gay".

  • There's a difference. Gay people know what the fuck is going on, retarded people don't.

  • @Bloodfalcon11 actually alot of the "retarded" people I have met are very perceptive. besides so what if they dont understand it's still not nice to say. where's the compassion and empathy?

  • @intoTaboo Oh, haven't you heard!? Compassion and empathy are no longer in vogue. Self-centeredness and self-righteousness are in style these days. Say what you want. Do what you want. If people are offended, it's not your fault they own it. "People need to develope thicker skins" they say. (sarcasm)

  • @DanG9226 you do realize sarcasm is and awful thing to use via text because people cant tell what part you're being sarcastic about. everything you said is wrong and repeating it is just as bad

  • i hate hearing that, that's so gay/retarded you wouldn't say that's so black or anything like that so why is it ok to call something gay/retarded in a derogatory sense

  • You can put something else in ur mouth ;D

    Nice tits!

  • Thanks.

  • your voice sounds so adorable and btw im bi and sometimes ill catch my self saying thats so gay but when i do its usually to awesome things xD

  • I wish people wouldn't use that horrible word (Retarded) anybody that needs to call something "Gay" or "Retarded" because they don't like something or somebody, then just shut up and don't comment at all.

  • Is name calling part of our primitive instinct to dominate those we see as weak around us? We struggle to control bullying with kids in our schools yet they are surrounded by an adult culture that seems to accept and institutionalize domination. Kids don't just bully and name-call; they learn it from the adults.

  • There is a very big difference between saying someone is gay, and that something is gay.

Gay meant different and strange before it meant homosexual.

I don't think this should be a giant issue anymore. You seem like a very smart person, so it surprises me how you take offense to someone saying "That's so retarded" or "That's so gay."

I don't think as many people would use the phrases if they were referring to down syndrome and homosexuality at all.

  • @OHaiTheNamesMandy Before the 1970's, "gay" meant "happy" or "cheerful" before it meant gay.

  • @gdcat777 I think she meant queer.

  • @vampire10110011 Also retard is based off of ritard (spelling may be off), but it is used in music to show that it slows. Homo means one, like homogenous milk just means milk that is completely mixed and won't seperate. I agree, it's stupid to use these words, but with everyone around us saying it, sometimes we say it without realizing! I'm trying hard to stop though.

  • I worked at a sumer camp for the mentaly and phisicaly handicaped and if the "R" word was used you where yelled at by any and everyone within hearing distance!

  • oh come on there is nothing wrong to use Retarded I cant understand why gay ppl feel offended. this is the 1-st time I hear someone to make that big deal form it but maybe in america is that way i dont know
