  • I stumbled across this by accident after reading about puppy mills in the USA. I had no idea it was going on in Wales too.. Terrible!!!

Added a link to this page on my profile page at Flickr, although a small banner to your web site would be more effective.

  • This should be banned immediately. My little boy is a rescue from a South Wales puppy farm and thank god we don't know all the details.....

  • DISGUSTING.....BAN THIS SHIT!

  • Is this really in the UK? I'm utterly shocked and surprised...I thought this sort of thing had been outlawed and stamped out decades ago in this country!

  • If I won the lottery, balls to Africa and other charities myoney would go to causes like this! Until then they have to acceopt my small donations. Gutted!

  • Omg. That was awful. Thank-u you've made up my mind about weather or not I should give up my free time to volunteer at an animal rescue centre. I'm signing up tomorrow.

  • there is some complete assholes out there

  • Powerful stuff.

  • Surely this isn't legal though? I don't know much on the subject. Someone please point me in the right direction to research it.

    Thanks

  • I really hope my dog didn't come from one of these places... Found this through Twitter, so it's spreading, thankfully

  • You should need special licenses to breed or even own animals, its shocking that in the 21st century this is still happening, the people at the RSPCA do as much as they can and do a fantastic job, but while there are people just breeding and breeding to make a quick few quid how are they meant to cope?

  • shocking. poor dogs are treated the same as the millions of farm animals in this world.

  • I found the link to this video on twitter and I'm sharing it far and wide, thank you for showing the truth of puppy farms in the UK. People think we are a nation of animal lovers, but if that is true then why does our government and the public permit this cruelty, in the name of 'business'? Puppy farming is indeed Britain's shame and yet so many people support it unwittingly, don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die.

  • Lots of puppy farmers also advertise in newspapers , please be aware .Don't pay them to be so cruel .....

  • I know pet shop puppies looks cute....and you might think you are rescuing one by giving it a loving home but in reality all you are doing is putting money back into the puppy farmers pockets enabling then to continue to churn out more puppies and keep the puppy farm trade alive!

  • These dogs will never lead a normal life, will never have the pleasure of running free or feel the soft green grass beneath their feet. The puppy farmer continues to breed litters of puppies for YOU, the british public! As long as there is demand, the puppy farmers will continue to thrive and breeding bitches and stud dogs will continue to suffer! Please don't buy puppies from pet shops.

  • continued......

Dogs are sociable beings and mans' best friend - not money making machines!!!! Help stop this vile trade now. DON'T BUY PUPPIES FROM PET SHOPS!

  • I feel so very sad.....................and angry to think that it is considered acceptable for pet shops to sell puppies. Most pet shop puppies come from puppy farms and are bred in horrendous conditions, their carers having no thought for the poor breeding bitches and stud dogs that are continually bred from until their bodies are worn out and can produce no more! The government should take action, new legistlation should be put in place and puppy farming should be banned!

  • An utter disgrace. Thank you for highlighting this barbarity.
