@VikitaLT John distanced himself from the band in 1997 and has pretty much retired from the music industry. He last performed with Queen for The Show Must Go On with Elton John on vocals in 1997, and on the track "No-One But You" in the same year. As of 2011, he has not participated in any live performances, interviews or studio recordings with or without the remaining Queen members, and even failed to attend the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

@VikitaLT John is a family man.he was the shyest member of Queen and didn't enjoy the spotlight as much as the other members did.he once said after Freddie's passing that there was no point for the band to continue without Freddie.that's why he distanced himself after Freddy passed on.Queen died along with Freddy too.

Roger and Brian are really talented musicians and can't stop being what they are in life...I know Freddie will never be replaced but good luck to the other guys for still following their love of music. Mucha gente critica a Brian y a Roger por publicar tantas cosas de Queen, pero lo que no saben es que tienen dos motivos basicos para hacerlo: la fundación Mercury Phoenix Trust (además de otras causas) y la satisfacción de la gente.

En mi opinión eso es de agradecerse, ya que otros grupos solo tienen un par de videos y como que te dejan con ganas, pero Queen no, es un libro muy accesible para todo aquel que desee hojearlo...

They are such great muscians -if you dig deep into their albums there so much stuff written in werid (for pop/rock) keys. Not much of the standard three chord pop trick there even if they were capable of (crazy little thing etc). God save Queen!

Freddie is gone...but not forgotten! I really would like to go back in time, but i saw Roger, Brian and Paul Rodgers 2009 in Berlin and they're still doing a fantastic show! Sure, Paul is'nt Freddie, but i think he's the only one who can sing these songs as authentical as it can be.

It's fabulous to see and hear queen flooding our air waves 40 years on. Their music singularly and together has been a major part of my life. 30 years, gosh been a long road but still been the best journey ever. One day perhaps brian and roger will do an album together that would be a great collaboration and you have to finish on a song don't you. It started with the two of them so best if it finished with them too.

Well when you think of their age, they actually do not look old. Think back to decades gone by and recall how sixty year olds looked more like eighty five. However I think maybe the death of Freddie took it's toll on Roger, who went from young boyish looks of 1990 to a more beardy wrinkly old man look just five years or so later. Amazing and shocking. They are still great no matter what though! Queen forever!
