@ghost6784 yes, you can put any body kit on any cavalier of the same generation, with the exception of swapping 95-02 with 03+ you have to use the fenders and hood to make the front end fit correctly. You can also swap cavalier/sunfire front ends around. The cavfire is a popular swap, putting a 95-99 z24 kit on a sunfire looks amazing.

@RScoobyy as far as stock motors go no it doesnt really have much potential to be anything other than a nice looking car HOWEVER if youswap in a gtp motor the 3.8L supercharged V6 then you push these cars easy into the 10second range so in all actuality they have quite a bit of potential the early civics were in the same category only potential they had was with a motor swap so dont knock it without knowin a lil somethin bout the car

You don't see nice ones that often, and you don't expect a four-banger USDM to be very popular for tuners and modifiers. But you know what, after seeing what can be done with them, I don't think I'd be ashamed to own one! And when you think about it, if you remind yourself that a car is a car and that you like yours and I like mine, then in the end, it's what you do with it that counts.

i used the 4T60E OD trans. i used the pcm from the donar car. which was a 92 park ave. i basically just followed a fiero swap type of outline on swapping. ha, you drag a 65 cutlass but you street mod a cavy? something doesnt add up here.........
65 cutlass is a full drag car tubbed and caged and is no where near street able its a straight line car and you screwed youself there the 92 park ave was obd1 so you didnt do the swap and the fiero swap is a lot different from the cavalier swap you have to completely customize the dog bone mounts onto the core support and you would have had to have piggybacked the doner car with the pcm from the cavalier for the gauges to work right but good try at lying about it
lol, i said i followed the basics for the fiero swap. the cavy swap isnt exactly common so i had no where else to start from. does it matter if its obd1? no, it doesnt. i used everything from the 92 except the tranny (it was shot, thats how the car was so cheap in the first place.) you can still work with the obd1 computers. its not impossible. if you could afford, let alone build a full drag car you probly wouldnt have a cavy. my cavy was my first car. you, are just a domestic ricer.

lol well the way you described it is all wrong considering there is a check list on jbody on how to do the swap and what will work and what wont work but if your going to get an obd1 computer to work in an obd car you have to swap everything and i dont see you doing that when it took you 7 hours to install a simple cat back on a mustang but thanks and also if you had done the swap you would have videos of it instead you have video of you beating a cavalier to shit for no reason
hahaha the obd 1 computer from the obd1 engine works together if you put them back together smart one., a simple cat back on the mustang hahaha. actually i hallowed out the cats, switched to an X-pipe and put flowmasters on. completely new 2 1/2 inch piping from the manifold back. and the piping goes over the axle, and it doesnt just slide out. i had to cut it above the axle to get it out, cut the new pipe to get it in, then weld it all over the place including above the axle. give it a try.
You complain about welding when there is a ton of welding involved to put a 3800 engine in a cavalier, also yes an obd 1 comp works with an obd 1 engine, but where did you find obd 1 air bags and a module for a gen 3 cavalier, and how would you have gotten the ignition to turn over with it having pass key which is only obd 2, it wouldnt have worked, ive taked to the jbody guys on their website and they say its virtually impossible to get a series 1 3800 engine to work right in a gen 3 cavalier

the video says 95? ohh, oops. the keys are close. the greed car has z ground effects? um....no. i thought you had a z? you should know the differences. infact, theirs a lot different from a z to a base model. and those rims are steelies with hub caps and they are 15's. the z24 are 16inch and i can find them in alot of places. the mustang has deep dish (not very but they still call it that) bullet style rims. and they are 17's.

2001 mustang GT. in the few videos i have of it its stock, right now im puting in comp cams, doing a 5.0 stroke kit, and a paxton supercharger. set me back alot of cash, but idk if it will keep up with a cavy. i had a cavy back when i was 16 as my first car, your really doin big with a cavlier. look around you, do you know why its new drivers and old ladys driving them? because ther meant to get you places, with good mpg. not for body kits and wings. if u want something to mod, do it right.

it took about 5 months. and that other video wast my cavalier, it was a friends 100% stock z24. it was for fun. i know them both very well. i got rid of it because i did it shitty, its hard to swap that shit it barely fits. and i got a GT because it easily runs 12's without much money, and the cavy 3800's best time was 13.8 after 5 months of dick sucking work. . and untill it happens, your still a shit talking bitch with a shitty green cavalier.

i used the 4T60E OD trans. i used the pcm from the donar car. which was a 92 park ave. i basically just followed a fiero swap type of outline on swapping. ha, you drag a 65 cutlass but you street mod a cavy? something doesnt add up here.........

65 cutlass is a full drag car tubbed and caged and is no where near street able its a straight line car and you screwed youself there the 92 park ave was obd1 so you didnt do the swap and the fiero swap is a lot different from the cavalier swap you have to completely customize the dog bone mounts onto the core support and you would have had to have piggybacked the doner car with the pcm from the cavalier for the gauges to work right but good try at lying about it

lol, i said i followed the basics for the fiero swap. the cavy swap isnt exactly common so i had no where else to start from. does it matter if its obd1? no, it doesnt. i used everything from the 92 except the tranny (it was shot, thats how the car was so cheap in the first place.) you can still work with the obd1 computers. its not impossible. if you could afford, let alone build a full drag car you probly wouldnt have a cavy. my cavy was my first car. you, are just a domestic ricer.

lol well the way you described it is all wrong considering there is a check list on jbody on how to do the swap and what will work and what wont work but if your going to get an obd1 computer to work in an obd car you have to swap everything and i dont see you doing that when it took you 7 hours to install a simple cat back on a mustang but thanks and also if you had done the swap you would have videos of it instead you have video of you beating a cavalier to shit for no reason

hahaha the obd 1 computer from the obd1 engine works together if you put them back together smart one., a simple cat back on the mustang hahaha. actually i hallowed out the cats, switched to an X-pipe and put flowmasters on. completely new 2 1/2 inch piping from the manifold back. and the piping goes over the axle, and it doesnt just slide out. i had to cut it above the axle to get it out, cut the new pipe to get it in, then weld it all over the place including above the axle. give it a try.

You complain about welding when there is a ton of welding involved to put a 3800 engine in a cavalier, also yes an obd 1 comp works with an obd 1 engine, but where did you find obd 1 air bags and a module for a gen 3 cavalier, and how would you have gotten the ignition to turn over with it having pass key which is only obd 2, it wouldnt have worked, ive taked to the jbody guys on their website and they say its virtually impossible to get a series 1 3800 engine to work right in a gen 3 cavalier

i complain about welding where i cant get my hand up in next to a gas tank smart one. the obd1 engine i had doesnt have air bags. you can remove air bags fom the cavalier before you cut wires and remove shit. i used EVERYTHING from the 92 buick. your stupid. you think i just converted everything to use the cavaliers factory shit? no, that would be hard as fuck. haha. yea trust your web sites. you think i have to used the cavalier computer to run the 3800? no, i swaped everything i could.

No but you still wouldn't get the instrument panel cluster to work right you need to piggyback the stock one and obd 1 cant do that and i posted a blog on j bodies web site and they say no one has ever put the series one in a gen 3 its a waste of time an you basically it wont work right with the instrument panel cluster and a buick ipc wont fit lol

the video says 95? ohh, oops. the keys are close. the greed car has z ground effects? um....no. i thought you had a z? you should know the differences. infact, theirs a lot different from a z to a base model. and those rims are steelies with hub caps and they are 15's. the z24 are 16inch and i can find them in alot of places. the mustang has deep dish (not very but they still call it that) bullet style rims. and they are 17's.
