LOL I don't even know where to start with... I'm not even going deep on the issue of how f****** cliche'd the brazilian voices are, but the fact that you refered the acting element, I can only assume you must be jocking?! Take for example from 00:48 to 00:54 mufasa's reaction to what scar just said is much more natural and he actually sounds worried about his son, in the brazilian version he sounds almost as if he doesn't give a crap about him. It puts the brazilian one to shame

Upset??!!! Isn't he meant to be sad... That's my problem!!! For example in this one when he sees his father's body he acts like he knows he did something wrong but since its over he just wants to go home and goes all "cute sounding" near his father without realising he is dead... he acts like an naive kid. Then once he realises it he gets all depressed. And have you heard the portuguese version of "I can't wait to be king"? When Nala and Simba are moking Zazu it's soooooo funny

Ok, Mufasa's actor was fine but SImba sounds WAY too calm and stabled when he tries to wake hihs dad up and then call help. -.- Especially after what he had just seen.

The Lion King characters are not portugalians, and it's like pretty much the point of ACTING - to be able to get into the right mood of your character no matter what "ypour natural state is". -.- And Scar and Mufasa's actors are not calm when their characterss areb't supposed t be. Nor is SImba's all the time then why at the most tragic moment? o.O

The nativity nor the language isn't the pojnt, as I tried to point out in that reply. (bendaimmortal is my first account.) The poin tis in acting believably a small child whose father just targically died and the kid is slowly understanding it, alone.

I'm portuguese and to me it sounds like an naive voice as if at first he didn't believed his father was dead and you can clearly sense a bit of guilty in his voice as if he knew he did something wrong but doesn't really know what...

I realy just can't explain what I think about young Simba's voice here. It's not bad. He sounds good to me. And realy cute too. It's just that he sounds so different from many of the other versions.
