There's a glaring error in this video. It says that Niyazov was both speaker and president. Turkmenistan « did » have a separate person as Speaker but he was arrested shortly after Niyazov died, thus allowing Berdymukhammedov (sp.?) to take power.

@RJohnLloyd You're right, the real speaker Ataev was arrested after Niyazov died.

I think the report was trying to say that Niyazov was technically the Prime Minister as he was head of the parliament (though there was no official title) but it confuses the 2 positions.
