The good news is that this excellent movie is getting a sequel without question. The question is which one to adapt. The staff previously did consider they were surely going to adapt the two-parter "7 Crystal Balls" and "Prisoners of the Sun," but now there is talk of adapting "Calculus Affair" instead. Whichever they choose, both stories have good plots to introduce Professor Calculus (or Tournesol in original language, which I prefer).

I felt reluctant at certain changes made in comparison to the Crab with the Golden Claws, the Treasure of Rackham the Red and the Secret of the Unicorn. I acknowledge Spielberg's efforts and the impressive 3D, but sadly, I believe he exaggerated on certain actions scenes (too Indianajonesque) and I cringed at the way the scenes from the three episodes were mixed. Hergé's Tintin had more modest action scenes, a slower story pace and a more subtle sense of humor. Now that is my humble opinion.

This was a fantastic movie, they did an excellent job combining the 3 books used for it. My only beef is that Professor Calculus wasn't present in the movie. Though it didn't bother me to much.

But the next movie is rumored to be based off of " The Seven Crystal Balls" and "Prisoners of The Sun" So he has to be in it then!
