I'll concede that she's a performer. Face it, you'd scarcely know her without the theatrics. If she keeps up the pace, she'll be a new generation's Madonna. She pushes the fringes of what's acceptable, and she's unquestionable strange in general. She's not the best vocalist I've heard, nor the prime pianist, but shit, she's aptly talented and I'm more entertained by her than with 9 parts out of 10 of the rest of the insipid disconsonant, auto-tuned scraps of aural vomit I hear in "mainstream."
