@wheeler8801 I don't know man. I have a 57 Apache step side and a 72 El Camino and neither of them has had a ton of rust like you claim. My dad owns a 58 Impala and that thing is 90% original with just minor fixes to the interior. Basically it's been rust free for all these years. The majority of my family owns GM vehicles and I don't know of any of them that has rusted out like you say.

I think things like this mostly go for who has what truck and where they live, people you know, etc. There's some crazy vehicles of all kinds out there, but people I know lean away from jeeps due to the cost. They love their Toyotas, and the Trackers are far more impressive to me.
Some vehicles are just bad vehicles, though. Maybe your 4runner is one of them. I know i have had my share of bad-luck vehicles, but you can only replace so much.

And horsepower doesn't always get you farther. 130hp truck that weighs 2000lb has roughly the same power-to-weight ratio as a 4500 pound with 300hp.

I think things like this mostly go for who has what truck and where they live, people you know, etc. There's some crazy vehicles of all kinds out there, but people I know lean away from jeeps due to the cost. They love their Toyotas, and the Trackers are far more impressive to me.
Some vehicles are just bad vehicles, though. Maybe your 4runner is one of them. I know i have had my share of bad-luck vehicles, but you can only replace so much.

He can`t even get it inspected! one good thing about it is its gears He can creep up a steep hill with it idling! it has danya 44 inners and danya 34 outers it needs to be 44 all the way. this is his second jeep, he had an 06 and the cam fucked up so he got to trade for a new one and start payments all over.

Third the heavy wieght of Chevys is what keeps you on the road in winter, and gives you more control in mud. Fourth Chevys are made and assembled in the USA. Toyotas and made in China, and are only assembled in the US.

Toyota is one of the only that is made in USA, and they started making them with shit ton of power, and they are the most reliable. You hafta replace your tranny after 70,000 with a chevy. I wasn't defending Toyota's on any power issue, you don't even need power for wheeling. When running a motor with less hp, you build the truck with more gearing. And horsepower doesn't always get you farther. 130hp truck that weighs 2000lb has roughly the same power-to-weight ratio as a 4500 pound with 300hp.
