nice..regarding the speed cut,my bro's V7 STI has its speed cut removed,but the needle keep on going as the car goes,currently nearly hitting the naught mark,making one full cycle of the speedo(RSM:230km/h),maybe V8 is a bit different :-)
The speedo on Japanese cars is limited to 180km/h, so even if you remove the speed cut, the needle can only go to where you see it in the video. We were definitely travelling above 200km/h in the video, just not exactly sure how fast - maybe around 220km/h based on previous experiences.
After punching some values in my calculator, the driver was cruising at 200~220kmh based on tire size& gear ratios provided from this site:
