Radiation (RF EMR) from a wired earpiece 50cm away from the mobile phone

Can you please take your meter out on a sunny day and measure radiation. Than we will compare mW/m2 with mobile phones?

In my house the level is ~0mW/m2 (as seen at 00:35). Out of my home the RF levels that are measured with the CORNET ED85 is 0mW/m2 (thanks god!). Outside my office (downtown) the levels are between 1-10mW/m2. Please note that in order to check RF radiation in the open air (multiple sources and multiple frequencies) you will need to use a spectrom analyzer.

hey norad can u plese post a similar video where you measure the radiation levels right on the phone when the call is accepted?i mean so we can see the radiation our head gets while we have it on our ear!

In all my videos I try to show the electromagnetic radiation. Measuring it is not that simple especially when very close to the phone. It will be very difficult to measure the EMR emitted by a mobile phone, since it is very high and my meters can't show it and since the meters are not accurate when in the close field.

When you are putting your phone aginst your head you are exposed to high levels of RF and ELF.

What is approximate levels of radiation right on the phone?

This meter can't measure the near field very accuracy but if you would put it next to the phone the levels will be too high and the meter will show the max possible level it can display which is >1800 mW/m2.

 In the meantime I can say that CFL emits electromagnetic radiation, creates an electric field around it and cause for dirty electricity.

I think they should be avoided, and never used when less than 50 cm from a person.

I think your video is misleading people not to use headphones, as you are not telling people that radiation with headphones is 65mW/m2 compared to 1000+ mW/m2 right on the phone when we hold it next to the brain.

We can not eliminate radiation 100% but earphones will at least reduce it.

The best thing to do is to use the cell phone as less as possible.

When you have to use it use the speaker phone or wired-air-tube earpiece.

I think that using bluetooth is not good, leaving it working on your head is bed, puting the cell phone in your pocket is bed, using both for long minutes is bed.

That is very good!

There no real need to use the cell phone every day, all day long.

I have a 5 years old cell phone, I use it once a month, for less than a minute, with speacker or with airtube-earpiece

how can I block EMR waves from the outside? I live next to a GSM antenna site (60-70m away) It's been one year now since they've been in place and I have trouble sleeping, focusing, I get a lot of colds more and more often. What kind of device would I need to measure the amount of RF in the air? RF or ELF detector?

In order to protect yourself from radiation you should do 3 steps, understand measure the EMR sources EMR near you, minimize your use of EMR emitting devices, and them block the EMR coming from outside your house.

You can perches EMR meter on the net, simple one like the CORNET ED6 meter cost up to 25 $US, more sophisticated meter like the CORNET ED85EX can cost up to 200$US.

The cheapest thing to do is to cut down cell phone and cordless use to the minimum possible.

As a mobile phone user the best thing to do it to talk only when there is no other choice and to use the speaker phone option when the phone is as far away as possible from the head and body.

1. Minimize the use of EMR emitting devices like mobile phone, cordless phones, wifi and so on, and by that limiting your exposure to EMR.

2.Monitor the level of EMR in you surrounding,

3.Protect block EMR sources from the outside.
