@FlyerFan9 The benches are more like a basketball or soccer bench, and not like baseball or hockey. So the benches are part of the ice and you just slide out.

I'm laughing like crazy, happy at the fact that these paraplegic men are HOCKEY PLAYERS down to the core!! and they will throw down just as fast and with just as much gusto as the hockey players in the NHL.
