Hes not engaging the enemy ,so on that note he would have his own reasons for firing the weapon like this... No one on hear can teach the soldier about the weapon as hed already know how to use it.

@samj5664 I served as a closedefence soldier in armored division. We were the last one that was forced to take the army test to see if we were good enough to make it into the army. now its voluntary. out of around 250 000 test takers we were only 15 000 that passed. I think you should choose the division that suits you the best, thinking of your abilities, what missions you like the most and ofcourse what weapons you wish to have. that in mind you could train to pass the tests :) good luck

@oczhaal You're right, suppressive fire is meant to be accurate. You don't need to use a Mag 58 though, the F89 works fine. The video effectively showed a panic mag being discharged, though it's usually the scouts who fire it off as they're generally the first to be contacted. It's not meant to be accurate as such, it's more to make the enemy think 'holy shit' and stick their head down for the three seconds it takes for your mates to hit the deck and grab a firing position.

The Norwegian military issues Aimpoint CompM4 sights as standard with most of their weapons (HK416, the G3 that's being phased out) some Norwegian soldiers have magnifiers behind them, also some soldiers are issued with ACOGs. The ELCAN is only really used on the C8 Carbine (SF weapon).
