Dude.... its shift. all it tok was to kleep it held down AS YOU LEFT CLICK THE RESTORE BUTTON. it then opens up a window to browse for the restore throughout your computer. remember where you saved the file or else you will ahve to dl it again.

you should back it up...just lok up iPod touch 2g backup on google and abunch of sites will pop up. i've never done it...but i know theyre there

Hey my problem is after downloading it and opening itunes that when i try to open the file after shift restore it has a error message so if u can give me your email that would be great

@flamo20010 That means that its not the correct firmware for your ipod. are you sure ur ipod uses 2G Firmware? and not 3g or 1g firmware?

@xIMxCRAZYx hey on pc im pritty sure you hold shift. i had the same problem as you but i fixed it. try holding down ctrl, alt. and shift. (at a time)

I was using Screenium to capture what I was doing on the screen, and I made it show up in blue or red whenever I click.
