Sorry, been out on vacation. Res:1920x1080, samsung 40" using dvi to hdmi. QX6700 OC'd on water. 9136c5d(with dom fan, for those that never got the designator.) FSB on water Dual 8800gtx s's on water 9 case fans. MozartTx PCP&C 750 Quad Southbridge - doesn't have room... low profile fan. WD VelociRaptors raid0 Danger Den waterblocks on all. Dual 120x220mm rads with nearly 10ft of tygon. I wont say the pump!

A lot of people are gonna complain to me, but of course the I7 will be faster. It has 8 logical cores to work with, while the QX6700 is only working with 4. So of course it will be faster than a 4 core CPU with only 4 threads.

But even if the QX6700 had 4 cores and 8 threads, the I7 would still win since its a new platform with better manufacturing process and everything.
